"Ding Ding Ding! Goodmorning!"

My alarm repeated these four words for one whole minute at 6:30 AM each schoolday morning. Luckily, this will be my last time hearing it for three months because today is my last day of school before summer break!

Words couldn't describe how ecstatic I was that my Sophomore year of highschool was over. Sure it was great, but now I get to sleep in, eat whatever I want, and read more books!

Yes, I love books. I may have ended my nerdy self about 5 years ago, but there are still things that remain the same. Such as when I get home, I rid myself of those irritating contacts and put my lovely glasses on; I eat salads, fruits, and granola bars at school, but when I get home I go straight for my secret stash of skittles; probably one of my biggest secrets yet, is the fact that my favorite movie of all time is 'The Little Mermaid.'

I was soon brought out of my train of thought when my mom started to scream at me, "ALEXANDRIA MARIE MALCOM, IF YOU DON'T GET DOWNSTAIRS WITHIN THE NEXT 10 MINUTES I'M LEAVING YOU HERE!"

With those words, I quickly got out of my bed and made a beeline to my closet. I decided to go with my white crop top that has the words 'LOVE' written across it in purple lettering, my black high waisted skirt, and to throw it all together, my purple converse.

After changing out of my pajamas and into todays outfit, I went to the bathroom that was connected to my room. I proceeded to brush through my already super straight hair, and put it into a quick side braid. Then, I brushed my teeth, cleaned my face, and put my contacts in. Finally, I added my signature Victoria Secret perfume and some light red lipstick with black eyeliner.

Noticing that it had been 15 minutes since my mom had told me come downstairs, I ran as fast as I could, grabbed a banana out of the fruit basket, and found that my mom was nowhere to be found. Shortly after not being able to find her around the house, I heard a honk from outside, knowing it was my mom's SUV. I swiftly picked up my white Jansport backpack and met her outside.

As soon as I got into the SUV, she sped out of the driveway. As I went to turn on the radio,I noticed the house next door to us didn't have the 'FOR SALE' sign in their front yard anymore. That sign has been there for 3 years now, and someone is finally buying it...

My mom must have noticed my confused face, because she started saying, "Honey, I forgot to tell you that we are finally going to have neighbors again! I've already met them and I think your going to like them." She said it with a weird smile and a certain glint in her eyes...she must be hiding something from me.

But before I could ask her what was going on, we pulled up to my school. I kissed her cheek, said goodbye and as I got out of the car I was bombarded by my 2 best friends,Victoria and Lily.

Lily began frantically talking her head off, "OMG can you believe it's our last day of Sophmore year! It feels like just yesterday we were entering Crestway Highschool as Freshman, and now were going to be Juniors!" She kept blabbing on about how time goes by so fast and soon were going to be in college soon and blah blah blah blah blah.

I tuned her out as we were making our way to our lockers. Our lockers were not together so they left me to go to their own. We were told that homeroom would be spent cleaning out our lockers and we would spend the rest of our day in second period.

As I was taking my pictures out of my locker, a pair of hands covered my eyes, and the mysterious person said in a sing song voice, "Guess who?"

I quickly took their hands off my eyes, knowing who it was, turned around and gave him a kiss straight on the lips. It lasted a good 3 seconds before we were rudely interrupted.
