Chapter 2

"Hey I'm gonna have to end my shift early tonight, would you mind taking over for me?"

Alex came strutting in the store towards Lily, her fellow coworker and longtime best friend. She had gorgeous blonde hair that flowed past her shoulders and bright blue eyes that highlighted her shimmering pale complexion.

"Sure it's not like I had plans anyway..." Lily stated with a sarcastic smirk.

"Look it's really important! And I've covered for you so much! You owe this to me! Plllleeeaasse"

Lily couldn't help but laugh, "You're right, that's fine I can take your shift. But only if you tell me what his name is and let me pick out your clothes!"

"Well I am meeting someone, but it's not really a date, more of an interview" Alex could tell Lily began to look worried.

"Wait, you're quitting? You can't leave me here alone!"

"Look it's with a guy from MTV! He just wants to tell me about a new show they're making and see if I'm interested in being in it..."

"WHAAAAT! WELL WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!"

People were now starting to stare, which Alex figured she better get used to.

"Hey just calm down! I know I can't believe it either! But I have to run home and get ready, I'm meeting him at 8. I'll tell you all about it when I get back okay!"

"Oh my god you better look hot! Good luck and don't be nervous!"

"Thanks, and try not to burn the place down while I'm gone!" Alex shouted as she walked out the door.

Hopefully that'll be the last time I'll walk out of here, she thought.

"Glad to see you came!"

Henry greeted Alex with another firm handshake and pulled out her chair for her to sit at the table. Staying professional and classy.

"I would never miss an opportunity like this"

Henry grinned, "Well let's see how excited you are after I tell you more about the premise of the show"

This scared Alex a little, but hell it's a TV show on MTV, how much crazier could they get? She was prepared for anything.

"Well go ahead then! I'm all ears." Alex smiled brightly.

"Well what we're trying to do is mix celebrities with non-celebrities, or everyday people such as yourself! We want to see how they interact with each other and what crazy shenanigans they can get into together."

He laughed a little to himself, "As I previously stated, we don't have the whole concept yet but it is something!"

"I think it sounds exciting!"

"That is good to hear! It would definitely be quite the mixture of people. However, before we get a whole group of people together we would like to pair them up first before filming. That way you at least know one person before being thrown into this. Each celebrity that we're interested in having, and that has agreed to participate, will be paired with someone such as yourself!"

Henry then took a quick drink from his bottled Coors Light, giving Alex a chance to comprehend everything he had said.

"And lets say you agree to participate, then you and this celebrity will spend from 1 to 2 weeks together before meeting the rest of the group. We feel that's enough time for two people to get to know each other enough for the show. You each will spend time with each other doing your daily activities."
