I wake up by the sound of my alarm. I sit up and stretch. I grab my phone and stop the alarm. The time says 7:15 and how much I wish I could go back to bed, but sadly I can't. I get up and take a shower and then get dressed. I put my light makeup on, grab my phone and walk downstairs to wait for Jen to be ready.
As I wait for Jen I braid my hair in two French braids. Once I'm done I check my phone and go straight to messages to see if Shawn answered me. And yes in fact I have 2 unread messages from him.

I'm glad things worked out with your brother.

"Ready?" Jen asks me.
"Yep! Lets go." I say hopping off the stool and grabbing my bag. We do what we always do, Starbucks then college. I took an extra hour of a class today to replace yesterday's absence. So once I'm out I go to our table were Brooke, Lya and Jen are waiting for me.
"Hey." I greet them and sit down besides Brooke.
"You done?" Lya asks me.
"Yep! I'm free for today. Were are the guys?"
"They went to play some pool at the bar, down the street." Jen tells me.
"Shouldn't you be at work?" I asked Jen since she hasn't been going to work for the past days.
"I took the week off."
"Huh. Okay then, well I would tell you if you wanted to join the guys, but I don't feel like watching them play pool."
"Same." "Yeah me too." Brooke says at the same time as Lya speaks.
"Lets go to our place." Jen says standing up. "We can talk and order some sushi or something to eat."
"Okay, lets go. I'll give you all a ride." Lya says standing up as well and walking towards her car. We all get in her car and drive to our place. Once we arrive we order some Boneless and sushi. We all sit on the living room in front of the TV. Jen has the remote searching for some movie to watch.
"Okay so what do we watch? Comedy? Romance? Horror? Action?" Jen asks as she scrolls on Netflix.
"Something Romantic!" Brooke says all excited.
"No!!" Both Jen and Lya yell.
"Why not?" I ask.
"Because if we watch something romantic then I'll start feeling all alone." Jen says.
"Aww! But you're not alone you have me pumpkin." I tell her as I squeeze her cheek.
"Shut up!" She says taking my hand off her.
"Come on! Lets watch some Romcom!" Brooke says again all excited.
"No Brooke! Its the same!" Lya says.
"Oh come on! Don't be like that! It's not gonna make you feel all alone. You're all exaggerating."
"Well of course you say that you have a beautiful relationship!" Lya says.
"Oh come on, let's watc-"
"Nah uh. Don't finish your sentence." Jen tells me, pointing a finger at me.
"What? Why not? I'm single like you guys."
"Oh no. You don't count as single. So we're watching either action or horror." Jen tells, clicking on the action section in Netflix.
