Yeah no gay this chapter- so this story is merman lance x college kid keith and it's set on the long island- the background is that keith shiro and pidge all go to nyc for college but shiro and keith share a house on long island and pidge has an apartment in the city. Lance and hunk are royal guards of Altea, (altea is a kingdom not a planet/race) which is off the coast of Cuba. Altea was attacked by the galra (again not a different race just an empire, but their skin is purple due to pollution in their original territory) so they fled the city, allura fled with lance and hunk all the way to the coast of long island, because all the citys in the ocean between them were all taken over by the galra. So theres your background now enjoy the gay.
