Robotboy OC Fanfiction: Dragonbot's history

The start of a new robot

It was afternoon and Ivy Green, Professor Moshimo's trainee, was trying to repair a mechanical arm to get the test done. Ivy always wanted to be like Moshimo. Inventing robots for the future, for good, and for fun! Like his 2 robots; Robotgirl and Robotboy. She HAD to count out his failed prototype since it doesn't count that much as what she says.

She was almost done with the arm as it sprung up and waved at her and Moshimo. Ivy squealed in joy knowing that she had passed her test again.

"Professor! Professor I'm done!!!" She said with a smile, high fiving the robotic hand in joy. Moshimo nodded and smiled with how happy Ivy was.

"Very good Ivy. You may go now. I'll see you the day after tomorrow." Moshimo said, watching the teenager run to the door and grab the door knob.

"Ah! Wait- before you go, there's something I need to show you." The Professor added before Ivy could even open the door.

Ivy stood frozen and took deep breaths. Feeling nervous and excited for what he'll show her. Couod it be a weapon? Or a new invention he made! She turned around and nodded, following the professor to his lab. Once they arrived, Moshimo opened the door and allowed Ivy to go first into his lab. When Ivy went inside his lab, all she saw was a deactivated robot in his work table.

"Um sir... what is THAT?..." Ivy pointed to the deactivated robot on his work table.

"Ivy, ever since I made Robotboy and Robotgirl, I planned to make another robot for a special reason. This robot is highly advanced to fit this new "era" young ones call. So I made her. For a good purpose." Moshimo took out a necklace to activate the robot.

Once the Robot was activated, it blinked and just sat down, staring at the 2. The robot was more of a dragon animatronic from what Ivy can say. The robotic dragon looked grey and silver, having purple eyes that seemed to be the only bright color on its dull body, as well as it's red wings, the head seemed to look like it can float. It had a curious expression on its face. Ivy gasped at thr robot and seemed thrilled to see it.

"EEEP! COOL!" Ivy grinned while she bent down to examine the robotic dragon. "Professor, who is this??? And what is this? And its a dragon?! This is amazing sir!!!"

"You like dragons?" The professor asked, and when he saw Ivy nodding her head while distracted by the robot, he smilled and giggled by how enthusiastic the girl was to the robot.

"Good. I was hoping you would say that. Her name is Dragonbot. She is a highly advanced robot made for combat like Robotboy. Although I gave her a few enhancements and details on her. Like her wings! She can fly and use her wings to steer her direction, allowing her to fly on sharp edges without hitting anything. Although with this robot being high quality, she is... pretty much destructible. Meaning she can-"

"Get destroyed easily... why though Professor?" Ivy completed the professor's sentence, Moshimo looked at her and smiled at Dragonbot.

"So that she can feel more emotions instead of focusing on her weapons and her ability IF she was indestructible like my robots. She's both sensitive physically and emotionally for a reason. I was gonna fix her, until she refused to be fixed. Embracing her emotions and her own self. Dragonbot was made to protect me and others from possible threats. Such as Protoboy and Doctor Kamikazi." Moshimo said while pulling out a small controller, pressing the red button to send out a decoy version of Protoboy.

"Dragonbot, protect!"

As soon as Moshimo said that, the dummy Protoboy took out its lazers and aimed for Ivy and Moshimo. This caused Ivy to scream in fear and attempted to do the duck and cover technique. But as soon as the lazers hit both of them, Dragonbot zoomed to them and used her wing to protect them, creating a force field once the lazers nearly hit them. This caused a small impact on Dragonbot but she shook it off and zoomed directly at the dummy. With every lazer the dummy shot, Dragonbot dodged it quickly with no trouble and went close to the dummy until she was already behind it and shot it with her blaster. Sending some of the parts flying across the lab. Dragonbot flew back to them and smiled.

Ivy gasped, her jaw hanging out in awe with how fast and deadly the little robot was. She looked at Professor Moshimo with her jaw wide open. She closed it shut and began to speak.

"Sir.... that was amazing!!! This robot can REALLY protect you! Its amazing!!!" Moshimo giggled at Ivy's reaction to the little robot.

"It seems that this robot wont be protecting me for now. But you." Moshimo said, making Ivy confused.

"Um.. sir... are you saying that-" the only thing Ivy got was a simple nod from the professor. She looked at the robot, then back to moshimo, robot, moshimo, robot, moshimo, until she realized what she said and what he meant.

"SIR! I CAN'T! I DONT WANNA HAVE THAT THING! WHAT IF IT HURTS ME?!??!" Ivy panicked, holding her frizzy hair as she hyperventilates. Moshimo rested his arm on her shoulder and just looked at Dragonbot.

"Ivy, this robot here needs to learn how to live normally to avoid her being like Protoboy. Having no experience with emotions. And not only that, I see great potential in her and in you so I decided to make this robot and give it to you."

"But why me sir?!"

"Because I fairly know that you are always scared to go out knowing Kamikazi and Protoboy are out there. And you lack social experience with kids like you. So I want to give you Dragonbot to help improve the both of you." Ivy stared at the professor for about 5 seconds before she remained speechless.

Ivy couldn't believe it, she was gonna take care and handle a robot like her friend, Tommy. She can't say no to the poor robot. Thoughts raced on her head, thinking about bad things if she wouldn't accept Dragonbot. She sighed and nodded in response.

"I'll keep her" Ivy bent down to look at Dragonbot.

It wasn't soon until Dragonbot grabbed her finger and shook it.

"Hello! Me Dragonbot! You Ivy? Professor say you nice! Me Luuuuuuv you!" Dragonbot hugged Ivy in happiness. Ivy hugged back and carried the small robot. She felt heavy but it was tolerable.

"Sir.. why does she say "luv" instead of love?" She asked curiously.

"Hm. I do not know why but maybe once you bring her home, you can run a few tests to know her behavior. Report them to me by the end of the week. I'll be seeing you a week after the test tomorrow." He handed over the necklace to Ivy. Ivy noticed that she can turn the necklace into a watch whenever she wants. She just needs to remove the strap and attatch it to the bottom of the device. She wore it and gazed upon it.

"Wooaaah. Cool!" She pressed one of the buttons to deactivate Dragonbot. She waved goodbye to the professor and walked back home. She was REALY gonna take care of a robot that she got from Moshimo. THE Professor Moshino! This is gonna be a looong way journey for them. Epsecially what lies ahead of them.
