Those rumors that my classmates were telling me.. is true? That Allen has fallen inlove with me..? But I really didn’t believe it. Of course, with no assurance from him.. And he’s my best pal.. We are always together, nothing more, nothing less..
But what’s this—
“Em!” Allen appeared in front of me with a stunning smile. “Time to head home.”
“Y-Yeah..” I nodded.
“Em?” He asked, looking worried. “Is something the matter?”
“No, I’m just.. confused.”
“About us?” He happily asked. His blooming aura can get in to you. “Em.. I’ve been wanting to ask you this.. This may seem a shocker to you. And I was just hoping..”
“Can you be my girlfriend?”

Oh my God.. I’m not used to these kind of things. My heart.. Why wouldn’t it settle down?
Why do things have to become upside down?
I.. I didn’t turn down Allen’s question. I agreed to be his girlfriend. That’s why I can’t get it out of my mind!
I knew I love him, my day is not joyful when I’m not with him. He always make me smile. Those were the signs, but I was numb. I haven’t thought of ‘love’ until now. But Allen stunned me with his confession..
So, here I am. Rolling and going crazy on my bed. Still processing the pieces in my mind that I am now somebody’s girlfriend.
Oh my God. I now have a boyfriend. A boyfriend..?!
Aaand here goes my rambling in my mind again.

“Have you heard? Em and Allen are now in a relationship!”
“Wow! I knew there was something fishy about them.”
I heard Kian and John talking. I’m just pretending to be asleep here in a corner of our room.
Then I heard Allen’s voice. Looks like he just came. “Guys, the relationship is still a secret. I don’t want others to know about it.” He whispered.
“Oh, okay.” Kian answered. Then their voices were gone.
I lifted my head and leaned my chin on my hand. “Hm..” I picked up my phone from my pocket.

Mavis' Point of View
Eating ice cream while sitting on a bench while waggling my feet is life! I smiled to myself.
I’m looking forward to what a teenage relationship is like. How it goes, what you have to do and don’t have to do.. It’s exciting even if I’m quite nervous.
“Em..” Allen called me from a distance. It’s strange, he usually shouts my name when he calls me. “I would like to tell you something..” He was looking on the ground the whole time.
“What is it?” I still managed a smile even if my chest is pounding. I’m predicting he will say something I will not like..
“Our relationship..” He shifted his gaze right into my eyes. “Let’s keep it hidden, ‘kay?”
I nearly drop my cup of ice cream. I didn’t say anything and just nodded. Though his sincere proposal was hurtful..
I stood up and threw my half-empty cup in the trash can.
No one ever saw me do this, and capable of doing it. Ever. This is my time wasting something precious..
It’s just.. I’m not in the mood anymore.
And Allen didn’t even notice it like he used to.
I felt something vibrate in my pocket. A text message? I took my phone and read it.
