Ashley is a 16 year old girl who was kicked out by her parents due to different beliefs. Now, nowhere to go, Ashley runs into Alex, who takes Willingly takes Ashley under her wing. Their relationship continues to grow strong.
I went over to Lisa's condo. It cost about 3 million she got it after a few months of blowing up in the music industry. I was so proud of my best friend. I gave the door a couple of knocks wiping my tears away. I was done crying...or so I thought.
"Oh my god! Ash what happened? Are you okay?" I expected this reaction, but what I didn't expect was a mental breakdown hearing those words. I felt like I was in a movie.
"No. Chris cheated on me."
"Oh my god that's terrible. Wanna talk about it?"
"No I just need to rest and for someone to console me."
"And what better person to do that than your best friend?" She says giving herself a hair flip.
"Oh get over yourself." I playfully rolled my eyes.
"Okay well let's freshen you up and then you can rest."
"Cool."
When I got out the shower I threw on a pair of basketball shorts and a tank top I had. Lisa was watching Garfield on Netflix.
"Damn best friend yo ass is fat in them shorts." She says and I giggled
"Don't you think you a little too big to be watching this?"
"Don't you think you a little too yellow to be a human?" I smacked my lips
"Man that ain't even." I say
"Hello?" She says putting her phone to her ear.
"Nobody even called you." I say looking confused
"It's the sun she says your her daughter." At first I ain't get it, I thought she was still a little tipsy from the few drinks we had. But then it hit me, when I heard her muffled snickering.
"You and Alex going to stop ripping on my complexion. She always calling me cornbread or honey biscuit." I said mugging her. Lisa was now in full on tears.
"Whew! She got yo ass. Sis said cornbread and honey biscuit. Imma start using that."
"Y'all niggas just mad cuz I'm lightskin." Lisa gives me a look like 'okay bitch.'

"Anyways are we really going to watch this?" I say adverting my attention back to the tv
"Aww come on Ash you know this is one of our limited, favorite shows we watched as a kids, on Cartoon Network." She had a point. We can count on our fingers the amount of shows we watched on Cartoon Network, including adult swim. Regular Show, Boondocks, Family Guy (still watch), Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Grim Adventures of Mandy and Benny(I think that's what it's called.) That's about it. I recently started watching the amazing world of gumball. We were more of nickolodeon babies. iCarly, Spongebob, True Jackson VP, Mighty Bee, Kenan & Kel, Victorious, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Drake & Josh etc. Some were a little before our time. We also of course dulged in shows like Nick jr. Dora the Explorer, Backyardigans, Yo Gabba Gabba, Diego, Oswald and more. At around ages 8 and 7 we watched Disney. Proud Family, Kim Possible, Suite life, Suite life on deck, That's so Raven, Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, Shake it up, Phineas & Ferb, Good Luck Charlie, Gravity falls etc. The only show of Disney Junior we watched was Mickey Mouse.
