History of the Spirit Realm - Neaveh

The beginning

It is said that at the very beginning, only one being existed in the universe. This being, being lonely, made 2 seperate worlds, Neaveh and Deash. This event however, caused the being to come to an end. After several thousand years, beings on both worlds begin to gain consciousness. The beings of Neaveh came to be known as "spirits," with the beings of Deash calling themselves "Daemons."

Being more violent creatures, the Daemons found a way to invade Neaveh. This event however, caused the once whole land of Neaveh to break into 20 islands. Not wanting the spirits to reconnect and fight back, the daemons made a barrier between the 20 islands.

Fighting the Daemons, 6 spirits gained control of the elements that made the world. These 6: Draog, Weh, Tamas, Aqua, Gaoth, and Eau, find crystals that allowed them to port to other parts of Neaveh. Meeting for the first time, they fight of the powerless Daemons.

Defeating the Daemons, the original 6 sealed away the portal that connected the two dimesnions. They come together to create the new Neaveh, now named "The Spirit Realm."

Gaoth becomes the first Ruler of the Spirit Realm, bringing the 20 islands, now called "floors" together. Draog returns home, only to discover that it had been raveged by a surviving Daemon, Marlit. Growing wings suddenly, Eau took to the skies.

Believing him to be a god, spirits began to follow Weh. Tamas, fearing his power, hid himself away, hiding into the caves of floor 4. Aqua began a town on floor 10, before staring at a water daemon named "Neptune," who considered himself a god.
