No words can describe the feeling I felt in my chest when I first laid eyes on his smile and his strange navy blue bow tie. His eyes merely sparkled against the moonlight, but it had its own glimmer that seemed to contain feelings of pure bliss which I still don't know the reason why. When he approached me, I could clearly see how vibrant this pair of eyes are. Blue and green clashed, swimming in those gorgeous irises of his, and I couldn't take my eyes off of his own. We just stood there for a moment and during that one brief moment, I thought he was the most beautiful person I have ever seen.

The corners of his lips turned upwards, forming into a polite grin as his deep voice echoed throughout the room. I sensed that his tone was quite gentle at the time. I replied quite meekly and he chuckled – God bless his laugh – which in turn made me giggle, too. He gave me another grin before asking me to dance to which I gladly accepted. There was no music at all, yet we still danced, swaying softly as he hummed a tune that could only have been a song that is most probably from the 40s. Then he started to twirl me around and I laughed at how ridiculously silly our uncoordinated dance was with me being twirled in different directions and randomly dipped before he presses our bodies together.

A slow waltz ensued as he hummed a song which I identified as Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 – my favorite song. I smiled up at him, staring into his stunning multicolored eyes that seemed to pull me into a trance whenever I look at them. He smiled back at me, making my stomach do flips as my heart raced against my chest.

His hand cupped the small of my back as he encircled his other arm around my body, pulling me close. He had surprisingly strong arms, yet his actions and expression led me to believe that he was holding me as gentle as he could, which I found quite endearing for a man like him.

There in his eyes I saw an emotion so intense I could almost see it showing through his actions at that very moment. His slender fingers tucked in stray hair strands behind my ear. His gentle touch sent shivers down my spine as he put his hand against my possibly warm cheek, caressing it while he gazed into my eyes. I watched his expression turn from something so passionate into something only emitting a tenderness I couldn't quite comprehend.

"You truly are beautiful." whispered this man who saw me as who I am and did not turn me away at a moment's notice. I simply smiled at his remark as I placed a kiss on his cheek. Almost immediately, he closed the gap between us and pressed his incredibly soft lips against my own. My mind became blank and the warmth of his lips was all I could think about in that short period of time. When he pulled away, I started to miss his lips, and I was only comforted with the remaining lingering warmth of it.

He let out a soft laugh that instantly became like music to my ears. He smiled at me once again as he stroked his thumb against my cheek. Each stroke sending sparks to my heart that caused it to pound thunderously against my rib cage. My mind thought of his bright, stunning smile that brought along a feeling in me that I can't quite place, especially whenever the wrinkles around his eyes appeared when he showcases how happy he is.

When my eyes met his, I instantly knew that he is the one I have been looking for, and that he is the one who will save me.

For once, I felt the feeling, which I thought was impossible to experience, on that night. It felt so amazingly right, despite how wrong the world is. And I found it when I was in his tight embrace. In his charming laugh. In his tender touch. In his expressive, multicolored eyes. In his warm, hopeful kiss.

Just one night and everything became perfect. I only hope I can meet him again someday.
