Jisung tapped his foot nervously, waiting for the principal to re-enter his office. Both Jisung and
Changbin got their phones confiscated during this session and Jisung just really needed to talk
to Minho. Eyeing the telephone on the principal’s desk, he was half tempted to use it.
Changbin rested carelessly, half his body hanging off his chair with his hood covering his eyes.
His hands rested on his lap as he twiddled his fingers boredly.
The principal finally came back after what seemed like hours. He had notified the two that they
would not go unpunished, and had to immediately call a parent or guardian to pick them up.
“Knowing Jisung for so long, I had already called Minho and he is on his way. As for you,
Changbin, I’m going to need you to call a trusted guardian to pick you up,” the principal stated,
giving the two boys back their phones before dismissing them from his office.
Jisung knew Minho would be upset with him and was not looking forward to this encounter. As
much as he loved his boyfriend, he hated seeing the look of utter disappointment on his face.
As Changbin and Jisung waited near the main doors of the school for their guardians to arrive,
Changbin spoke, hoping to get more information on Jisung, “Who’s Minho?”
Jisung didn’t need to answer him. He could just ignore Changbin. However, thinking of his
current argument going on with Felix, he definitely felt bad about it. He wasn’t sure why, but he
thought that if he opened up to Changbin, Felix might forgive him faster. Even though Jisungdidn’t like Changbin, he decided to tell him the truth. It may be easier on Felix’s end if Changbin
already knows what’s going on.
“My boyfriend,” Jisung showed Changbin the lock screen on his phone, which was a picture of
Minho sitting on the couch in his pajamas, throwing Jisung a cute hand-heart while kissing it,
“Felix is upset at me because I didn’t tell him about my relationship with Minho.”
“Why’s that?”
Jisung furrowed his eyebrows in frustration, anger suddenly piling up again, “It’s something he
doesn’t need to know about right now. But Jeongin had to ruin everything.”
Despite the unfamiliar name, Changbin started to get angry again, “What do you mean he didn’t
need to know about it? If you’re truly best friends you should tell each other these kinds of
things.”
Seeing his boyfriend exit his car and walk towards the school, Jisung immediately shot up,
taking one last glance at Changbin, “I don’t need advice from you. Stay out of my business. The
next time you get me in trouble I’ll have my fist meet your face.”
Jisung then ran out of the building and toward Minho, hoping to explain everything to him before
Minho emphasizes his anger at him.
Changbin rolled his eyes at Jisung’s stupid reasoning. Felix had every right to be upset with
Jisung right now, because he also had every right to know about his relationship. And also, who
the hell was this Jeongin guy?
Changbin saw a familiar vehicle pulling up, causing him to pick up his backpack off the floor and
begin walking toward it. As he walked, he had a sudden thought.
“Why did the principal call Minho instead of Jisung’s parents?”
-
“Listen Jisung,” Minho started, driving to Jisung’s house, “I’m not mad at you. I’m just
disappointed. I really thought you would do better from now on.”
Jisung sighed, glancing over at Minho’s right hand that rest on top of the steering wheel instead
of being held in his own, “It wasn’t my fault this time, Minho, I swear. I tried to resolve things but
since the principal knows me, he thinks that everything I do is my fault.”Minho always easily gave into Jisung, but after the conversation he had with Seungmin, he
needed a few more answers from his boyfriend, “I believe you. You can tell me what happened
later. But now, I want to ask you something.”
“Let’s go to your house instead,” Jisung quickly piped in as soon as he realized their destination,
“Sorry, I just want to talk to you more. And don’t worry, you can ask me anything.”
Minho shifted their destination to his house before speaking again, “When I had lunch with
Seungmin-“
“That reminds me, I’m so sorry I didn’t make it! I really wanted to go but then Changbin came
and got me in trouble and.. Ahh, I’m just really sorry!”
Minho chuckled, finally reaching over to take a hold of Jisung’s hand, “It’s okay baby. Just listen
to me. Seungmin told me that, when you were figuring out his relationship, you spoke to
someone named Jeongin?”
Jisung relaxed more, rubbing his thumb against Minho’s hand, “Oh, yeah. What about it?”
“They were kind of hurt that you didn’t just ask them personally. Honestly, I am too. Why didn’t
you just talk to Seungmin? Did you think he would lie to you?”
Jisung suddenly felt guilty, he didn’t know Seungmin would be hurt by it. “Honestly, I asked
Jeongin because I didn’t want Seungmin to know you were worrying. That would make him
upset at the fact that you were worried for him. Plus, I wouldn’t want to make things weird
between him and Hyunjin because I was asking about their relationship. I thought that if
Seungmin knew you were worried, he might distance himself from Hyunjin or something. I don’t
really know..”
Minho smiled. He knew Jisung was being completely honest by the tone of his voice. He
sounded embarrassed yet convinced at his own thought. Minho squeezed his hand
comfortingly, hoping that Jisung would realize Minho wasn’t mad at him, “I’m glad you were
thinking about them.”
Jisung smiled over at Minho before looking at his lap, shyly. It was moments like these where
Minho is reminded why he truly loves Jisung. He dragged Jisung’s hand up to his face, kissing
the back of it before placing it back down.
-
Seungmin and Hyunjin were already late to their physics class so they decided to stop by the
restrooms. As Seungmin washed his hands, Hyunjin walked up behind him, wrapping his armsaround his waist as he rested his head on the crook of Seungmin’s neck. Seungmin smiled as
he turned off the faucet, reaching over for a paper towel.
Hyunjin only gripped tighter against Seungmin’s waist, making the younger chuckle. Hyunjin
suddenly peaked over Seungmin’s shoulder, looking at the two in the bathroom mirror. Hyunjin
could see why people thought they were a couple. They definitely look like one and act like one.
Hyunjin assumed that if he was a spectator, he would come to that conclusion too. He loosened
his grip on the waist, lifting his head so he can rest his chin on Seungmin’s shoulder instead.
“Do we need to go to class?” Hyunjin whined cutely, making Seungmin smile. The younger
placed his hands on top of Hyunjin’s, intertwining their fingers. There it is, Hyunjin thought, more
actions that only couples would do.
Why do they act this way if they’re not dating?
“Yes we do,” Seungmin stated, but made no move to head to class. Hyunjin grinned, turning his
head so he was only centimeters away from Seungmin’s cheek.
Seungmin turned to face him as well, the two holding eye contact for only a split second before
being interrupted by the loudspeaker, calling a student to come to the front office. Seungmin
turned away from Hyunjin to look at the speaker, as if facing it would allow him to hear the
announcement better. Hyunjin sighed before releasing his grip on Seungmin.
“Let’s go then,” Hyunjin spoke, grabbing a hold of Seungmin’s hand before leaving the
bathroom. Hyunjin wondered if he and Seungmin would get anywhere with this relationship.
Perhaps he’ll talk to Jeongin today, and get some advice.
