When they walked into the hall, Anna immediately noticed it wasn't like her town hall. The walls were covered in velvet sheets, with symbols she didn't recognize imprinted on them. The roof looked like it reached to the treetops. A long, red carpet led to the end of the hall, where three men sat in thrones.  The throne on the left sat a small, dirty, inhumanly ugly man with a large head and thick brown beard covering half his face, dressed in a robe that looked made of earth. The throne one the left sat a man that looked normal compared to the others with short brown hair and the features of a human, with a purple robe. The middle throne sat a man who was almost glowing from his porcelain white skin, he had big eyes that were slanted, long white hair and wearing a robe almost as white as his skin. "Welcome"said the man in the middle," You must have many questions" his voice was gentle and very welcoming.
"Hell ya we have a lot of questions! Why the fuck did you bring us here, you stupid bastard?!" Eleanor screamed, flailing her arms out of frustration. The man raised his hand and immediately she calmed down. "We did not bring you here, naive child. You are here to complete the quest of your ancestors, it was your destiny" the man on the left said. "Okay, but who are you and how can you help us on our quest?" Anna asked, playing along with this quest bullshit.
"We were the leaders of different civilizations that lived in this world" the man on the right said.
"I, Ivellios, was the leader of the elves, Aaron was the leaders of the humans," the man in the middle said pointing to his left, "and Alberich was the leader of the dwarves. We had to settle in the middle of these woods because of the quest your ancestors couldn't complete. You see, your ancestors, even your house wolf's, were the protectors of this land. They all had their individual strengths; Eleanor could turn into animals and cast spells, Anna was so light on her feet, she didn't leave a single footprint in the snow and she could take our her bow so fast you wouldn't even know you were dead until Naralis Analor told you, Alan could spot a trap from miles away and was very mischievous, and lastly Neill, who was a excellent soldier and was stronger than ten men. Their hellhound, Caroline, was so tall and armed with sharp teeth, that she could tear through armies! They were more powerful than any army in the world, but sadly had to leave us due to them passing on. After their death, things took a turn for the worst. Hiding in the shadows was an evil sorcerer who wanted everyone to bow down to his feet. While everyone was mourning the loss of our heros, an evil sorceress, Helhona, found her time to strike. Helhona had been gathering an army of powerful beasts from ogres to a displacer beast. The army of over 10,000 powerful beasts attacked our kingdoms and forced us to find solitude in this forest where we are protected by a gem, which creates a powerful force field around us, allowing us to be invisible as well"
"Holy shit" Eleanor said. "How did you come up with this? Wow, this is weirdest dream I've ever had!" laughing hysterically, she tried to walk out the door. Alan grabbed her shoulder. "M-maybe we should believe him. This seems pretty real to me and may be our only chance to get home" he gave her a begging stare, to which she gave in. "Fine, so Ivanous or whatever your name is. How do we get home?"
Ivellios shot daggers, figuratively, at the girl. "It's Ivellios, child." he corrected her, "How you get to your own world is quite simple. The gem that protects us is also a gift your ancestors gave us before they left. Touching the gem will give you their abilities that you will use to stop Helhona and save us all! Alas, once the gem is touched, our wall of protection will collapse after a few minutes, making us vulnerable to any attacks. So you must hurry fast young heros, we do have a sorcerer who can cast a protection spell, but will only last two weeks. The journey will be long and treacherous, but with your ancestors abilities, you'll make it through"
After his long speech, Ivellios got up from his throne, reaching about 6'2. Ivellios led the children and Ronaldo, with Aaron and Alberich following behind.
As they were walking towards the gem, Anna saw people poking their heads out of their huts, looking to see what was happening. When they got to the gem, it was glowing amber, a sort of overwhelming energy passed through the children's bodies. "Now all you have to do is lay all your hands on it, including your house wolf, and concentrate. If it goes right, you will gain the abilities of your ancestors, if not....... well, you'll blow up. It won't happen to you though!"
As the children were hesitantly about to lay their hands on the rock, including Caroline, a loud thud near them shook the small town.
Aaron's eyes grew wide.
"Oh no. They found us"
