*six years later*

'in loving memory of {your dads name} {l/n}'

i was crying, two weeks ago a shark had attacked us. in order for me to say alive, he got killed. i could help but think of it as my fault he was dead.

"i'm sorry for your loss." is what they kept saying. pissing me off to the limit i screamed. they covered there ears from my fatal scream. i swam away. seeing a shore about 60 miles away. 

though i can't recall his name of face. i do recall his smile and how he had taken my first kiss. 

Was this even the same beach, who knows. grabbing my necklace from my hair, i swan to the shore. once i had found a spot i put it on.

my swim suit had changed to fit my new chest size and wear shell like. my bottoms were fitted also. i walked around and smile. letting the past event free from my mind. i need to find a job, then maybe i can go to human school. that sounds like fun!

*time skip to were she's able to go to school*

Russell pov

"have you heard about the new kid?" toothy said, grabbing all of our attention.

"nope." sniffles said confused.

"well she's supposed to show up today!" i nodded.

"alright class, we have a new student today. treat her right." her? hm. i wasn't exspecting a girl.

"introduce yourself to us." she looked familiar. {h/l} {h/c} and her {e/c} eyes.

"i'm {y/n} {l/n}, i came here to see what this school was like, i hope to make friends with you all." he voice sounded as beautiful as a sirens. 

wait? {y/n}?!

i looked at my friends. and mouthed 'thats her again!'

she came and sat in front of me. i smiled. 

(time skip to lumch)

"do it!"

"what if she doesn't remember me!"

"GOO!"

they pushed me into her direction. i walked over to the window seat across from hers. she was staring at the ocean.

"may i sit here with you?" she looked up shocked then smile.

"of course!" i sat down and looked at her as she seemed upset.

"whats wrong."

"I'm just thinking about my father. a shark killed him. but i don't want that to get me down... whats your name?" i was in shock.

"oh, um.. sorry bout that.. my names Russell.." i bit the inside of my cheek. 

"why does that sound familiar? wait your!" i smiled and nodded.

"yea i was hoping you would remember me."

"Russell! so i did happen to come to the same beach!"

"yup, I'm glad we could met again. the ocean always reminded me of you, ya know?"

"well, could i trust you with something Russell? would you believe me if i told you?" i looked at her puzzled. 

"of course. what is it?"

"I'm a cross breed between a mermaid and siren. this necklace it the thing that gives me leg to walk with. but for some reason, i feel as if ive known you for year and could trust you." i stared at her. she's crazy.

"your serious? they exist? both of them, and they made you?" she just nodded with a smile graced upon her lips.

"lets meet where we first met. ill show you. please keep this a secret." i nodded. 

"hey."

"yes." i kissed her like i did when we were little.

she smiled and ran off to her class.

and like she said she would, she showed me her tail. graced with beauty from the moon it was like. 

more than her tail was shown if you know what i mean.
