Song lyrics and blurs filled Lita's head as she began to wake. She sat up and reached for her phone on the night stand. It was a text from Drew that said

She got ready, but knew there was no way she was going to climb though her bedroom window. She was going to have to confront her mom. She got ready and put a bikini that she had been hiding in her bag, opened her bedroom door and went downstairs. This is it. This was the big moment Shes been waiting for, for a long ass time! Her mom was sitting in the living room watching T.V. and all of a sudden Lita got this big knot in her stomach.

"Hey Stello's gonna be here in a little bit to pick me up" She said as she walked into kitchen and grabbed some grapes.

"What? I thought I told you that you weren't allowed to go?"

"Yea you did but I'm 17 and I wanna have fun summer and not just sit around the house like I have been!"

"You're not going, and who cares if you 17, you don't need to be around all that crap"

"Are you fucking kidding me!"

She paused for a moment; She couldn't actually believe that came out of my mouth, it felt good. Her mom looked at her in shock.

"What the hell did you just say?"

It was at that moment, Lita knew some serious shit was about to go down. The whole situation was quite irritating, and it made something in her just tick!

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? I am 17 years old and have not done shit these past three years of high school. I can't even go to the fucking mall without you by my side. How the shit do you expect me to handle the real world when you don't let me do new things. It's like you enjoy seeing me just fucking sit there and do everything you want me to do because you love to be in control! IT'S LIKE FUCKING NEMO MAN! IM NEMO AND YOUR THE OVERPROTECTIVE CLOWN FISH OF A FUCKING DAD MARLON AND YOU NEED TO CHILL THE FUCK OUT AND LET NEMO TRY THINGS SO HE CAN EXPERIENCE LIFE!"

Her mom stood there in awe. She couldn't even believe She just said that, but the bitch had it coming.

"I'm sorry... I just I can't deal with this anymore."

Lita could feel the tears getting ready to pour out of her eyes and struggled to keep them in. She could hear Stello's van pull up to he house. He honked the horn.

"Don't you dare go out there."

Lita turned around and started walking towards the door. someone jiggled the handle and opened it before she even got to the door. it was Drew. She felt a sudden relief. Having him by her side made her more confident.

"Drew!" She said with excitement.

"Hey everyone's in the van." He whispered. "Go quick, I'll distract your mom"

Lita grabbed Drews wrist and pulled him towards her mom.

"Drew, don't you think I should be able to go to this party?"

He looked over at Lita then the ground. he was a little nervous to be put on the spot.

"Well, Mrs. V you see, I- I was allowed to go to parties when I was like 15 so with your daughter here being 17 I think legally she should be allowed to go to this party."

"Drew, I do not care for your input, your parents are stupid for letting you go to parties when you were only 15, Lita will follow my rules, now leave."

"Don't talk to him like that!"

"Ill talk to him however I want to, he's in my house!"

"UGGGHHH I cant freaking stand you, c'mon Drew lets go."
