The truth (Loki and Avengers)

You killed me (Chapter 8)

          "You killed me." A voice whispered. Everyone's head whipped around to see Loki's disheveled but very much alive body.

         "Brother!" Thor yelled. He ran towards him but Loki backed away, terrified.

"You killed me." Loki repeated. His eyes were green.

"What did I tell you? You can't trust him. He will do whatever it takes to save himself and his friends. No matter how hard you try you will never be one of them." Thanos said.

"No! It was not my fault! It is Thanos' fault! He was the one who tortured you!" Thor defended himself.

"Excuses! You have always thought you are better than him! You despised him."Thanos said. He directed his attention to Loki. "He does not care for you."

"And you do?" Tony asked.

"Yes. He is my favorite of my children. He always has been." Thanos said. Everyone cringed.

"Loki, he tortured you. He made you kill so many innocent lives. I know we have had our differences but Thanos is the one who ruined your life!" Thor attempted to reason.

          "Loki." Nebula spoke up. "Hey do you remember me? I was one of Thanos' children too. Do you remember me on the ship?" Loki visibly shuddered. "Loki, he does not love you. He never has and he never will. He needs you for a purpose and once you for fill that purpose, he will kill you. He claims to love you the most. He loved gamora the most and he killed her. That will happen to you."

          "Enough! I saved his life! I took him in when he was cast out of Asguard! When no one wanted him, I helped him. He is one of my children." Thanos said.

          "Loki." Clint spoke up. "Loki, I know we have had differences and we fought like hell with each other but none of that matters. All that matters is that you need to get away from Thanos." Clint said. Loki didn't look up. He didn't even move. "Hand him over. Thor won the battle."

          "I have other plans." Thanos smirked.

          "You said whoever won could take Loki. Those were the rules." Clint yelled.

          "I changed them." Thanos stated. With that he started walking away. Squidward walked with him and knocked Loki out with his magic. The rest of the black order got into an attack stance. The Avengers attacked first. They didn't know what Thanos needed Loki for but they were going to stop him. No matter what.
