A warm, fluffy sensation filled Oliver's senses.
"Come on, Oliver, it's time to wake up." Doris's calming, mother like voice interrupted his slumber.
"Uhng... ack. Noo.. I don't wanna wake up.." Oliver muttered, squirming a bit.
"It would be nice to stand up and stretch my legs, Oliver." Doris explained, trying to be polite as possible.
"Fine..." Oliver mumbled once more, opening his eyes and blinking the warmth of sleep away. He pushed himself away from the warmth of Doris's belly, getting into his paws. "Being curled up with you for the night was nice."
"Yeah, it was.... We should check on Ripple and the kits." Doris remembered. She padded over to Ripple, the kits, and Gild. "Wake up you sleepy heads." Doris gently prodded Ripple.
"aH no I wanna sleep more." Ripple mumbled.
"You two and sleeping, what's with you too never getting enough sleep?" Doris mewed in an annoyed tone.
"What's going on? I don't wanna go again. I might fall in the river, I don't wanna fall in the river!" Torrent mewled.
"You won't fall in the river you mouse-brain." Forest teased.
"Don't call your brother a mouse-brain, Forest. That's mean." Ripple scolded, getting to his paws.
"Let's go!" Gild mewed, getting to her paws as well.

Ripple lead the group as they continued to walk along the river.
"It's nice that you and Oliver are mates now. Are you going to have kits together?" Forest asked.
"Er.. I'm not sure, but I sorta hope so.." Doris was surprised by the question, so she didn't really know what to say.
"Yeah, I hope so too. I just.. never had the courage to actually bring it up." Oliver confessed, glancing at Doris, then looking at his paws.
"I have had this strange feeling in my belly lately. Could it be...?" Doris explained to Oliver.
"You what? Oh, great StarClan! You probably are expecting kits! I didn't even think about that!" Oliver exclaimed, surprised, but happy.
"I'm expecting kits!? Wow.. I didn't- I wasn't expecting to have kits at this age." She mewed in shock.
The six cats continued to walk down the riverside, the snow slowly biting at their toes.
