"Are you kidding me?!?!" Agent Fowler yelled at the Autobots. "You sent him, HIM! of all people to catch the target?" He pointed a meaty finger at Smokescreen. "Because of you, I'll be explaining WHY we DON'T have the target!"
Optimus frowned at the accusation and complaining. "Agent Fowler, I would recommend not putting the blame on Smokescreen. Yes, I agree, I am upset that we did not achieve our goal, but we learned valuable information as we did so."
As the two leaders conversed, Smokescreen sat in the back corner of the Autobot base. He couldn't help but feel that Fowler was right. It's didn't help that Arcee had recently yelled at him a few days prior to the mission because he was getting overly exited about being sent on a mission with Optimus. "Too childish!" She had yelled. "He needs to grow up and take responsibility!"
It just so happened to be the little human genius with glasses who picked up on his sullen attitude. Bumblebee nudged Raf in with some reassuring beeps and whirs in Smokescreen's direction before standing up and moving over to converse with the other Autobots.
Smokescreen slightly jumped at the feeling when Raf nudged and poked at his pede. He looked down.
"Oh! Hey Raf," the young mech said, doing his best to sound happy and exited, as he normally was.
The ingenious brown-haired boy with glasses frowned. "Are you okay Smokescreen?" Smokescreen nodded his helm, sending Raf a somewhat reassuring smile. "Are you sure?" He inquired.
"I'm fine, don't worry about me. Go help Ratchet- I'm sure he'd love to have some help," Smokescreen suggested, somewhat perking up from his sullen mood.
Raf shrugged his shoulders. "If you say so. I'll be with 'Bee if you need me, alright?"
"You got it!" Smokescreen chirped back. The short human gave the Autobot one last small smile and walked back to Bumblebee to continue their conversation.
