Sara was a very adventurous person. She loved the outdoors, and liked to write fun songs about nature. Sara was a Freshman in Elmore High School. She was nervous about moving into a new school, and being around the older kids. In three days, it was the big day, the first class of the year. Sara checked off her last goal on her summer 2014 bucket list. This was the hardest decision of her life. Sara could go swimming with sharks, hike for miles through dark forests, and race with proffesionals. She always dreamt about parasailing over huge mountains and climbing up the Effiel Tower, but her one fear kept her from accomplishing these adventurous goals. Her fear of heights. When Sara was 4 years old, her aunt who she loved like a Mother, was driving through the mountains on a dark and rainy night. As she made a sharp turn, her tire slipped off a steep cliff, plunging to her death. From that point on, Sara could not even come close to a ladder. Sara looked at her checklist. The last goal on her checklist read " Skydive above the San Gabriel Mountains." Sara held the paper as her hands shook rapidly. She stood up and ran inside to her small house. She ran to her dark living room and flipped the switch by the door. Sara sat down in her swivel chair and turned on her laptop. She typed into her keyboard, "San Gabriel Mountains." There was a picture that came up. It compared the size of a human to the mountains. The mountains were huge. San Gabriel Mountains are the largest mountains off the coast of Los Angelos. They are surrounded by the Angeles National Forest. The mountains are 4,000 feet tall. Not too big, but gigantic for Sara.
