Liam's P.O.V
On a plane to the states. I go down to the states like, once a month.

I've become so familiar with this airline that I literally asked one of the flight attendants 'Hey Becca, hows the kids.'

I mean seriously, name one person you know that has done this.

"Liam, are you even listening to me." Then I was hit in the arm.

That ladies and gentlemen is my stepsister Quinn. She's my best friend. She was my bestie before our parents started dating.

"What were you saying." I sighed. Don't get me wrong, I love the states. It's just that these cases are making me nervous. I have my speculations, but so did other cops and detectives. But here I am.

"I said Nick will want to meet us at a Starbucks, right outside of the Ramsey neighborhood. So when we get to Boulder tomorrow, we won't be confused." Quinn said logging out of her email.

And Nick Grimshaw is the head detective down in all of the states. He stays mainly in New York and In California. But I asked contacted him and asked for some help from him and his team.

"Okay Quinn. But can we please stop talking about work. Don't you have teenage girl gossip that you want to share?" I gave Quinn my best doe eyes. She was always a sucker for them.

"Well, I don't really have any. I just don't see why I need to gossip about much. And are Louis and Harry together yet. But honestly Liam, I can't believe stereotype like that." Quinn smirked to herself, knowing I could see.

"Wow, what a smooth way to drop that in the conversation." I laughed.

"But seriously, are they." She went from acting crazy, to very serious in .01 seconds.

"No. And they don't talk about it when I mention it either. They both like each other, but won't admit it to each other." I swear IM the one sounding like a teenage girl.

"I know right." After that conversation, it was really quiet. It's not like we don't have things to talk about, we were just really tired.

About three hours later, Quinn and I woke up around the same time. Quinn took out her laptop, and started on what I guess was homework.

"I sent you a copy of Mr. Bristles math page." Quinn said mid type.

"Thanks" I muttered grabbing my laptop.

"Geoff, how much longer till this plane ends." Quinn asked asked my father, who was seated right in front of us.

"We should be landing in New Jersey in about 30 minuets." My father said in a bit of a harsh tone. It's not that he doesn't like Quinn, he just didn't like the idea of a daughter.

"Gives us time to finish homewo-" Quinn was suddenly cut off by the buzz of her phone.

"Oh my god Liam." Quinn yelled at the top of her lungs. She seemed to be happy.

"Will you tell me before I go deaf." I grimaced.

"Geoff, we may just solve this Horan case now." Me and my father looked at her with amusement.

"What. Spit it out." My father smiled.

"Bailey Horan agreed to take the lie detector test." She screamed.

"Wow, this is, wow." I smiled. This could help the Horan case as much as we can get.

"I also got a text from Nick. He said when we go to Ireland, he's coming with us, but he won't come back to the states until we he gets another warrant on the Horan pub." She said reading threw the text.

"Nick also said that his husbands nephew would be joining us. His name is Aiden. He's trying to become like us Liam." She showed me a picture of Aiden.

He had gorgeous green eyes. His hair was dyed blue. And his skin was really pail.

"He's cute." I breathed.

"How old is he." I asked, as the boy looked strangely familiar.

"16, and don't get any ideas." Quinn said with a knowing look in her eye.

"What, I'm pan. I'm gonna take any opportunity that I get." I said with a chuckle.

But I couldn't help but recognize Aiden.

Whatever it was, it must not be important.

"Liam, this is for work, if you have time afterwards, you can get his number." My father sighed. He was strict but fair.
