“Marie can you come here” her mother said.
“Coming mom” Marie called out from her room.
Marie was think what could her mother want , her mother knew she was doing her homework .When Marie got to the living room she saw her mother look outside then she saw what she wanted . The was a moving van outside . It’s was family of with only a son . I remember our teacher telling us the we were going to have someone new coming in but i didn’t think that he was moving right in front of mine! When dad came home mom was telling him that we new neighbor and that we should say hello to them.He knew that he really can’t say no mom so he said “it sound like a good new idea” .
All I was thinking was what are they trying to do to me , I know they are going to make me talk to him and that’s last thing I want to do . I don’t like talking to guys because I start saying and end making a foil of myself . I have to think of something so i don’t have to see him but can i do .
The next day it was Sunday and “I was like what does it matter if will just talk to him what could happen if I do!” Marie said to herself . She go to the living room to watch some T.V to find that there’s nothing on T.V that she wanted to watch. When her dad got home they all started to get ready to go to the neighbor house . When we got there they were very shocked of how fast the house was almost done. A lot of their furniture was all done and in a spot . They look like very nice people. Their names are Joanna,Frank, and Nick. He was very nice guy. I hope we are in the same class . It would be nice to be able to help him get round our school.
We stayed till dinner , after that he wanted me to see something upstairs in his room . When he opened the door he had his room filled with book . When I was looking at the books I saw that half of the I have read them before it was nice to know that someone like to read as much i do.
“Do you like to read?” He asked me
“I love to read in my free time that all i do” I said
It looked like he was happy that i said that . He was telling me about the book that he is reading. It sounded that he is really gets in to the books he reads I find it really cool that he does that because a lot of people don’t. He is really my type of guy i wounder what he thinks of me.
Well the next morning was crazy I didn't now what to wear or what to do my hair my worst part of the day so far . I found out that in was in my class my teacher sat him right next to me because we already knew each other . I was so happy that she did that . I showed him around all day it was funny because he told me that he liked how big the school is . After school he asked me if he could come over for a little so I could help him with his homework. I was fine with it but was my mother ? So before we got to my house I called to asks. She sounded really happy for some reason .
It’s been almost four week that Nick moved in he is friendly to everyone he meets. It’s almost valentine day and I am hoping that Nick ask me to be his valentine . My friend Kate comes over to sit by be at lunch.
‘Hey Marie do you know what you going to do for valentine day has anyone ask you yet?’ Kate asked.
‘No and I don’t know what i’m doing yet . What are you doing?’ I told her.
‘What are you waiting for ? I’m going to the movie . with Mark.’she told me.
‘I’m just waiting for someone to ask me thats all.’ I said to her
