It's Thursday, which means that tomorrow is the day that I'm going to be joining a sleepover. My first sleepover. I can't help but think about how It's going to go. That's all I was doing last night, I was thinking about what could happen. There's really only two things that could go through. I could have a terrible time, and either get kicked out or ask to leave. Or, I could have a totally rad time and make some new friends. I actually have no idea what the answer is, but I have a feeling that something good is going to happen.

I ended up taking a nap after I got off the phone with Sylar(the chick I called) and didn't get back up until 2:00. What did I do the rest of the day, you might ask? I watched Netflix. By myself. And then I went downstairs to eat, and then went back up and continued watching Netflix. I fell asleep eventually, and didn't wake up at all until 10:00. Luckily, Derby came in to keep me company. I'm kind of worried, because she asked me for some advice that I didn't know anything about.

"What?" I asked as I heard a knock on my door. I figured it was one of my annoying siblings, and was right. Well, besides the annoying part. Derby comes in and bounces on my bed, where I'm trying to paint my nails. "Give me that, you're terrible." She says as she takes the brush from my hand. She lifts my foot and starts painting my toes, fixing the parts I screwed up. I notice her biting her lip and nervously looking at me.

"What?" I ask her, chuckling. She shakes her head and continues to paint, so I shrug and leave it be. Finally, she gets both toes done, and she still hasn't said a word to me.

"Well...why did you come in here?" I say. She still isn't looking at me. Did she do something wrong? I watch her walk around my room, touching everything and examinating it.

"I have a question." She mutters. I almost don't hear her. "Okay, stop fidgeting and come sit down." She walks over and I notice she has new color to her cheeks, it looks like she tried putting blush on them. I lift her chin and wipe her cheek a little, only making it redder. She wasn't wearing blush, she was just naturally blushing.

"Okay I can't hide it anymore there's this boy I really like and I think he likes me but I don't know I really wanna talk to him but I don't know what to do and I was asking if you would help me because I don't know." She says, really fast with her eyes closed. When she's done, she takes a breath and smashes her face in my pillow.

"Derby, slow down. You like a boy?" I ask in shock. She's always came to me for advice, and I've always helped her, but this time, I'm stuck.

"Yeah." She mutters from the pillow. I pull her up by her shoulders and laugh. "Look, I'm sorry Derby, but I don't know what to say to you. I've never had a boyfriend, so I can't give you advice. Why don't you ask mom or Dallas?"

She groans and says, "Dallas doesn't ever listen to me. She's always busy, and barely ever home. and mom is-" She was cut off by yelling.

"Deborah Grace Crystal, get your ass down here!" I hear my mom yell up the stairs.

"-mad at me." She finishes, flinching. I pat her shoulder and tell her sorry again, and she goes downstairs.

I feel bad and all, but what was I supposed to do? That was like asking a girl what to do on her first period when the girl she asks hasn't even started hers. I know I totally let her down, but there was nothing I could do. I turn over and plug my headphones into my phone, turning the music up as loud as it could go. I fall into some dream land, thinking about what it would be like to actually be in love for once.
