KEN'S POV

I got a text message from Melissa after my last class. She wanted to meet with me at her house and talk about Julia. I agreed and texted Julia to go home without me, lying to her that I had a meeting with Mr. Smith.

I then left school and drove to Melissa's house. She greeted me at the door and I got in.

"So, anything new?", Melissa asks me when we sat down on the couch and I shook my head, "No", I said, "But she has calmed down"

"Good", she sighed in relief, "Then let's go to her and talk with her!", Melissa stood up as she exclaimed.

"Now? I mean, she's calmed down a bit but she's still in that weird mood of hers", I rubbed the back if his neck, "I don't want to upset her even more", I sighed and stood up.

Melissa then went to stand in front of me. She had to rise her head up because of my height. "Listen Ken", she said, "I know that you don't want to see her mad anymore, I don't want too! But I think that it's best if we go talk to her today than wait any longer! I want my best friend back and I am sure that you want your girlfriend back so, let's go get her!", she ended her words by looking at me with pleading eyes.

I then sighed, "You're right, I do want her to be back as soon as possible so, yes, let's go to her".

Melissa and I high-fived each other and went outside to our cars. We drove to Julia's house without any plan in mind other than to talk with Julia. I was afraid of how will Julia answer and react to us asking her a bunch of questions. I was scared that this was going to end everything I had with Julia.

I sighed for the hundredth time as I was in front of the front door. Melissa rolled her eyes and took the keys that I was holding in my shaky right hand and opened the door with it.

I swallowed the nonexistent water in my mouth and called out loudly, "Hey, Juls! I am home!", I and Melissa went in and started removing our shoes. When I didn't hear an answer from Julia, I continued, "I've brought a guest with me! Guess who?", both of us then went inside the living room and there sat Julia watching TV.

She turned around when she noticed our entrance. Her eyes grew larger when she saw Melissa. She was definitely not expecting her. She stood up quickly and turned the TV off.

"Hey", said Melissa. Julia just stared at her, still in shock. She then looked at me and at Melissa again.

"What are you doing here?", Julia asked Melissa, "What an amazing way to say hello, Julia", Melissa said sarcastically, "I guess you forgot how to talk to a friend in these days", she said raising her tone when she said 'friend'.

Julia looked down and muttered to herself, "Amazing"

"Amazing? Amazing?! Let me tell you what's the most amazing thing in the world, being cut off of somebody's life! Do you fucking know how confused I am as to why you decided that you didn't need me anymore! After all that we've been through you think that you can get rid of me like that! Now that's not only amazing but also fantastic!", Melissa raised her voice at Julia. I stood there silently not knowing what to say and do.

"You don't know what you are talking about, Melissa, so I suggest you to shut up!", Julia clenched her jaws as she said that.

"Well, why don't you enlighten us then, Julia! You have been keeping whatever thing that has been bothering you a secret and not telling anyone! And by that you are fucking distancing yourself away from us!", I snapped and raised my voice at her. "Ken and I are fucking tired of you being like this!", Melissa added.

"Just fucking shut your mouth! You don't know anything about what I've been doing! You don't have any right to shout at me like that!", she exclaimed, her voice getting shaky. "If you are tired of me why don't you just leave me then. Go get out of this door and fucking leave! I am not going to change after this 'talk', I'll stay the useless Julia that can't be a good friend or bear any children so might as well leave now while you can!", After Julia ended her sentence, she quickly realized what she said and gasped loudly and covered her mouth with both of her hands.

My and Melissa's eyes widened after we realized what she said, she can't bear children?, I opened my mouth to ask her but before the words got out, Julia left the house with tears running down her cheeks.
