"What are you talking about?" Fitz asked.
"The morning when I faded." Sophie mumbled.
"Oh." Fitz pulled away.
Sophie turned her head towards the window, unable to look at him.
"I just thought she was there because Biana shook me in the place where she gave me a bruise. Only Jadeana knew that I have that bruise." He mumbled.
"A bruise?" Sophie rolled up his sleeve and revealed a faint green color on his skin.
"It's basically healed now." He unrolled it.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Sophie felt a tear slip.
"Because I didn't want to worry you. She just hit me because I gave her flowers not chocolate." He wiped the tear that slipped down from Sophie's cheek.
Sophie could only hug him. Did she even like him? She didn't know anymore. But the flutter came back.
"Fitz, I feel a little tired. Go back to Everglen, and also get some sleep. I don't like you like this." Sophie traced her fingers across his dark circles as he chuckled. She let out a little giggle as she squished his face with her hands, making him look like a fish. A fish not to mention with adorable teal eyes.
"Sho-hie!" Fitz laughed, still with his fish face.
Sophie let go.
She was gasping for air in the end, breathless from laughter.
"You ain't don't yet." Fitz lunged on her, for a brief second they locked eyes and sat there. Sophie was on the bed helplessly. Her arms pinned by one of Fitz's hand on the pillow.
Their eyes were locked together. His beautiful teal eyes sparkling.
"Ahh!" Fitz started tickling her. Tears were exploding out of Sophie. Her tear ducts were producing tears so fast.
"St-st-stop!" Sophie managed to laugh.
"Fine." He leaned back.
"I'll visit you tomorrow?" He asked as Sophie leaned on her pillows again.
"Three more days." Sophie glared and broke into a laugh as Fitz shot her sad puppy eyes. "Then you owe me a favour." Fitz said, his crisp accent made Sophie flutter. She smiled anyways.
But then...
He leaned in so close Sophie could feel his warm breath tickle her skin.
He leaned closer to make their foreheads touch.
"I'll see you then." He said in a whisper and leaped away.
Sophie still ruby red, covered her face.
Oh the things he does to her heart. Only if he knew. In my imaginations...in my dreams...I wonder what we could be...maybe we kiss...but, it's in my dreams.Author's Note:
