Ari checked the whole  Gryffindor common room to make sure the Marauders were nowhere in sight. Marlin on the other hand had flopped into a chair and began rummaging in her bag for their list of pranks. Once, Ari had made sure Marauders were not there. She spun around in circles, while Marlin read her off the list of potential pranks.

"How about.... the one where we put a niffler in there dorm?" asked Marlin looking up at Ari.

Ari stopped spinning and looked at Marlin, "No! We need something more flashy and exciting. I mean their prank made us SING! Granted it backfired, they sure weren't expecting that awesome roast of yours Mar Mar!" she explained while waving her hands in the air excitedly.

Marlin leaned into the soft plushy chair she was sitting in and began humming as she thought.

She began singing softly to herself and tapped her quill to the rhyme of the song, "You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life..."

"Marlin!" yelled Ari interrupting Marlin's singing.

"Why are you singing at a time like this, we are in a crisis over here!" she complained, "Besides we had to sing all day yester..." she paused mid sentence and looked at Marlin.

"Wait a minute! Finish what you were singing, I think I have an idea!" she explained pointing her wand at Marlin.

"PUT YOUR WAND AWAY, ARI! I swear, one of these days your going to poke my eye out." But despite that Marlin continued singing.

Marlin eyed Ari's wand warily as she sang," See that girl, watch that scene dig in the dancing queen." she stopped at that and looked at Ari.

"Wha, ha, ah" said Ari rubbing her hands together manically.

"What is it?" asked Marlin, clearly not surprised by Ari's crazy.

Ari beckoned for Marlin to come closer. She whispered her plan to her. Marlin couldn't help but grin at the idea Ari had came up with.

Thus begun operation...Dancing Queen!

                                                                                  * * *

Marlin had four cookies in her hand and handed one to Ari, Lily and Molly. Making sure to keep one for herself. While she sat the plate of cookies on the table in front of them in the common room. She made sure that it was in full view for someone to see (or in this case, multiple someone's).

Ari waited patently (or at least tried to, she was practically squirming in her seat with anticipation).

"Hurry up!" thought Ari to herself.

She couldn't wait for the Marauders to eat the cookies they had baked with a very special  potion. She made sure to begin eating her cookie that was given to her by Marlin. Them eating some cookies were to insure the Marauders wouldn't suspect anything was wrong. But, what they didn't know was, the cookies they were eating were just regular cookies. On the other hand, the ones on the plate were no ordinary cookies.

Just as Marlin began taking a bit of her cookie the Marauders finally arrived.

On cue, like they rehearsed, Lily began speaking to Marlin "Do you like the cookies I made?"

"Their really  good!" said Marlin nondescriptly.

"Ya!" agreed Ari as she shoved the rest of her cookie into her mouth.

"You made these Evans?" asked James as he picked up a handful of cookies from the plate and began eating some.

Lily stood up with her arms crossed, "I don't remember offering you any cookies, Potter!" she said with fake anger (which wasn't really hard seeing as she doesn't like him).
