When a Partnership turns into Love: Neo x Male Reader

Prologue: The Start of a Partnership

(A/N: Well hello my fellow readers and followers, here is the Prologue to this story and like I said, Neo won second place in the voting pole and after I'm done with this story I will work on Velvet next,

Now with that said, let the reading begin.)

Neo P.O.V

"At a White Fang warehouse, White Fang soldiers are moving crates around after stealing a whole bunch of dust, but in the roof of the warehouse someone is sitting down watching the soldiers work and the person is Neo, she works for Roman and she had nothing to do and she just waits until Roman has a job for her. Then she gets a text on her scroll and she sees it's from Roman and she heads to where he is and she walks in to see Roman with someone she doesn't know............
Roman: "Ah, Neo. You made it."
..........she nods and sits down in a chair..........
Roman: "Oh, you're probably wondering who he is. Could you please take off your mask?"
.........he takes off his mask and it revealed to be a guy about Neo's age and he had (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes, then as Neo looks at him her hearts suddenly starts beating fast.............
Roman: "Neo, this is (Y/N) (L/N). He is someone who also works for me just like you. And at this time we need the help we can get because of little red and her team interfering I decided to have him be your partner. I just hope you two get along."
.........he walks out, then Neo looks at (Y/N) and she stands up, then walks to him and she held out her hand and he shook her hand..........
(Y/N): "Roman told me all about you, I'm impressed. But, yeah names (Y/N) (L/N)."
..........Neo smiles, then she goes back to the roof with (Y/N) and they look down at the soldiers working............
(Y/N): "So, *she looks at him* this is what you do when you wait for Roman's orders?"
Neo: *nods*
(Y/N): "Is there something else you do?"
..........Neo shakes her head and he nods, then he sits down next to her and Neo looks at him, then she takes out her scroll and types on it. Then she taps on his shoulder and he looks at her and she shows her scroll to him..........
Neo: 'So, how do you know Roman? He said you worked for him a long time."

(Y/N) P.O.V

..........he looks down and he sighs............
(Y/N): "I was 6 years old, my family had troubles with a gang and as a result they got killed and I was kidnapped."

11 Years Ago

.........(Y/N) is in a room crying after being kidnapped and loosing his parents, but most of all being kidnapped by the gang that killed them. He is in a corner cowering and then he hears the door open and he gets scared, but then he hears shouting and gun shots and he gets scared. Then he hears movement and the door opens and a guy with orange hair opens the door and he looks at him...........
????: "Are you okay?"
..........(Y/N) is too scared to answer, then he walks to him and he gave a soft smile and he extends his hand and (Y/N) was scared, but he reached out and the guy picks him up and carries him out and he took him to a room and (Y/N) laid there..........
(Y/N): "Excuse me sir. *he looks at him* Who are you?"
Roman: "My name is Roman Torchwick, I'm a friend of your family. I'll take good care of you."

Present

(Y/N): "So, basically Roman took care of me and I owe him my life. The gang that killed my whole family was killed by Roman, so basically I decided to work for him and that's where I am right now. And you and me, we're partners now."
..........he looks down as he brings out a picture of his family and he smiles, then he felt an arm wrapped around him as he sees Neo hugging him. He hugs back as he smiles, then they continued looking at the soldiers, then (Y/N) gets a text from Roman and he looks at Neo...........
(Y/N): "Neo, Roman needs us immediately."
..........she nods and they both get up as they head to meet Roman for their next job."
