"Click, clack. Click, clack"

Chelsea's Jimmy Choo heels sounded as they bounced up and down Marine Ave. She smiled.

"Oh, I love that sound," She thought to herself. " My shoes never let me down."

The wind was biting, and droplets of rain spilled out of the dark clouds. It was 7 P.M in Brooklyn, New York . It was a cold, December night and the only light left was the cracked, dusty streetlight of Number 151, and the soft, glowing moonlight that echoed down the street. Chelsea picked up her pace. Her fur coat was starting to dampen, and her voluminous curls were flattening. She was going to a party at a friend named Lacey's house, and she didn't want to look bad for the occasion. She was the most popular girl in the school, and Chelsea was absolutely delighted when she received an invitation.

She started to walk down 92nd Street, the last street, when suddenly a black car came speeding down the road. She screamed and started to run.

"Almost there, c'mon." She thought, running as fast as she could in her 4" heels.

But it was too late. Her heel dropped into a deep dent in the road. She yanked it, yelling and crying, but it wouldn't come out.

She gave up. It was hopeless. She hugged herself, and thought about the last 16 years of family, friends, and freedom. She looked one last time at the soothing moonlight, and she was gone.
