I was so thankful for meeting Kelisha yesterday as well as thankful for that home cooked meal she made as well last night. I haven't had one of those since I left home years ago. I was also thankful for her giving me a ride to and from work today as well. She was a lifesaver and I could see why Donnie was in love with her.
It was something about her spirit that I found calming it didn't hurt that she was pretty either. She had a job and her own place. I was going to enjoy her being my neighbor and riding with her to and from work for a few if she allowed me. Eric and I had caught up on some old time's and I invited him to my new place that I stayed with a few friend's from work.
I hope it worked out with us because they were already starting to work on my last nerves and we've only been in the place not even a week yet. Hell if I could afford a place on my own I would have a while ago. I couldn't wait for school to be over with one more semester left and I would graduate and be on my way into a promising career of a computer engineer working in the music industry as well as my company I am with now Cisco they told me they will hold an opening for me once my degree is in my hand.
Once that day comes I would give myself six months to a year to be on both jobs and find a place of my own. I would hate to leave my new neighbor but I could still see her around once in a while. What the hell are you saying Joseph she is taken already you fool. Ugh she and I can still be friend's like she is with Mike, Calvin and Tony I would like that a lot I told myself on my walk to my job.
I walked into the Cisco building and clocked in and headed on the elevator to the seventh floor. Before I could make it over to my desk my phone started to ring. Reaching into my bag I answered not looking at the number but I recognized the voice of my ex girlfriend Stacy. What's up Stacy I am at work I can't really talk right now I said to her.
Hell I never wanted to talk to her ever again. She did me so wrong she is the reason why I am where I am today. I gave her the world and everything else she wanted. She never had to work a day in our five years of being together that's how good I treated her. I couldn't dwell on the past I needed to get to work so I could leave on time to meet with Kelisha.
Just the mention of her name made my cock get hard. I know it wasn't right to lust after another man's woman but here I was lusting after her. I could look but I know I could and would never touch her. She was Donnie's girl and I knew that and respected that. I fired up my computer and got down to work. I was so focused on work that I actually worked through lunch and up until six.
I hadn't realized it was a little past six until my desk phone ring and security was telling me a woman was downstairs waiting for me. Hey Andrew you can let Ms. Jones up I told him. Andrew escorted Kelisha up to my office as I begin shutting down everything. I heard two sets of footsteps walking towards my office.
Hi did you forget about me Kelisha asked me. No I'm so sorry time got away from me. You know you could have just left me and I could have taken the bus or train home right. I would never do that she said to me. I actually enjoy the company she told me. Ok I said to her I don't mind riding to and from work with you gosh I said to her playfully.
I grabbed a few files from off of my desk and stuck them in my messenger bag and lead Kelisha to the door. I turned off the lights closed up my office and she and I walked out of the building together. On our way to the car my stomach started to growl. Which was funny to her. Are you laughing at me because my stomach growled I asked her.
Well yes she said to me. Why is that funny I said to her. I don't know it just is she said to me. I laughed with her when it growled again. Man I can't believe I worked right through lunch I said to her. That's not good at all she told me. Yeah I know I can't wait to get back into the area so I can order some takeout and sit in my room and eat.
