Chapter 4: Jason and Thalia

Thalia's pov 

Fall. It was my favorite time of the year. The leaves were falling, it wasn't cold but it wasn't hot. I absolutely loved it.

 Jason and I were sitting in our living room, our Mom wasn't home so we had the whole house to ourselves. "Do you want to go outside?" I asked Jason as he watched the fire crackle, "Mom said to stay in the house" He responded looking over at me, "But Moms not here..." I trailed off trying to convince him, "Hmm, okay" He laughed and ran to his room.

I laughed and went to my room to get ready.

Jason knocked on my door and yelled "Thalia! Hurryyyyy Mom will be home soon!", "Ok Ok I'll be right out" I said tying my shoelaces.

I walked out of my room to see Jason sitting on the couch. I decided to take this opportunity to race him outside. "Hey, Jason" I said "I bet I can beat you outside". I took off running with Jason also running.

We both ran outside and jumped in a pile of leaves we had raked up the day before.

 I started laughing at Jason because our dog, Sparky had tackled him and was licking his face. "Thalia help! He's attacking me!" Jason yelled. Sparky was a fairly large dog so I tried to push him off Jason but failed.

After burying Jason in leaves and running around the yard, We walked to our tire swing.

"I call going first!" I yelled to Jason and getting on the tire swing, "That's not fair, I should go first cause I'm the youngest!" Jason yelled trying to get on the swing with me. I scooted over and let Him get on. 

We swang until we saw a car coming down the road, "Jason, we need to get inside" I said pointing to the car.

I grabbed him hand and ran inside taking off our jackets and boots. Jason had trouble getting his jacket off, "How hard is it to unzip something" I said trying to unzip his jacket. I got it unzipped and threw it in his closet.

 "Let's go into the living room" I said to Him. He shook his head and went into the living room. We said down on the couch just as our mom came in the door. 

I gave Jason a 'We just did that, perfect timing, I love you' look. He looked at me confused but I just laughed. 

Our mom came in the living room and sat down looking at us. Everything was fine until Sparky came in the door we forgot to close. 

Lets just say Jason and I were hiding in my closet for awhile.
