Chapter Four

STEVE'S POV

Getting a reply from Angela brightened my day so much. I can't believe am falling for this woman and she literally just started working here.

But who wouldn't fall for that killer ass. Dammnnn she fine!!..

A knock on my door drew me out of my thoughts.
"Come in", I told the person behind the door.

The door opened and in walked my assistant. My whole mood changed...

"Sir, you have a meeting at 12 with Mr. Chang about the merging of our company", she said while taking a seat.

"Excuse me, 'our' company?, Sarah it's the last time I want to hear you speak that.
I'M TIRED TO TELL YOU I STARTED THIS BUSINESS FROM THE GROUND BY MYSELF, WHAT WE HAD IS OVER!" I shouted the last part of my statement.

"I don't know what have gotten into Steve but that was a mistake, baby you know you can never leave me", she said while getting up and walking around my table to my chair.

"Ms Rose, please am asking you to leave my office, thank you for the information on my meeting. If you want to keep your job it's best if you leave" I said with a straight face.

Walking to the door she turned around and said " I saw you looking at that new Managing Director's ass. Just know you won't get to test it" with that she walked out and slammed the door.

Man why did I even fuck that bitch. SMH!!

ANGELA'S POV

Scrolling through my phone I got a notification from my computer. Opening the message it showed that it was a message from Mr King.

"Sorry I have to cancel lunch. We have a meeting at 12 in the board room. I'll take you to dinner. Don't be late for the meeting"

Well damn it's my first day and he wants to take me out for dinner. Replying to the email I noticed it was only 10 minutes to noon so I got up grabbing my phone, my notepad and a pen.

Walking out my office I bumped into someone. It was Stella.
"Hey going to the meeting?", She asked
"Yeah" , I replied
"Let's walk together", she said

We started walking to the meeting.

**After the meeting**
 
Damn that was my first meeting and I am exhausted. It seems as if the company had being trying to get this other company to merge for a long time.

Walking out of the meeting I felt a hand on my shoulders stopping me in my tracks. Turning around I was facing Steve.

"Hello Mr King, how may I assist you?"
"Are we still on for dinner?", He asked

Feeling a bit uncomfortable I just nod and walked to my office.
Taking a seat I heard a message on my phone.

Opening it I noticed it was an unknown number.

Unknown Number- I'll pick you up at your hotel at 7.

Me- Okay see you then.

Saving his number I continued my job until 4.

Packing up I went down the lobby and signed out. Walking out I saw Dane waiting. I hopped in the vehicle and started to think about what the hell am going to wear for this dinner.

I was so deep in my thoughts about an outfit that I didn't even notice when Dane opened the door. Stepping out I went to my room and started to search through the little I have.

Settling with my outfit. I went into the bathroom and took a good shower.
Coming out of the tub I started on my hair. Letting it out I rubbed my gels in it and got some loose curls. They looked cute.

Keeping it simply I did a natural make up look and started  getting dress. While putting on my skirt I looked at the time and saw that it was 6:00.

Well damn now I believe when they say women take forever to get ready. Finishing up I grabbed my bag, put some cash in it and other important stuff and head out.

Entering the kitchen I grabbed some grapes to try and get my taste buds active.
Snapping a few pics I saw that it was 6:50. I decided to wait until exactly 7 to go down the lobby.

When 7:00pm arrived I locked up and head down. Entering the lobby I got a text message.

Steve☺- I'm outside.

Stepping out there he was leaning against his Audi A7 Sportback. He had a bit of a shock look on his face when he saw me. I know am showing some skin but that's just me.

Holding the door for me I entered and he walked around. Driving off I was on Instagram when I felt his eyes on me.

"Why are you looking on me like that?", I asked.
"You look AMAZING", he said smiling.
"Thank you", I replied smiling.

After that silence filled the car.
Driving in a parking lot I noticed that this was a seafood restaurant.

He didn't even ask if I was allergic to seafood. Good thing am not. I thought

Coming around, he opened my door and we walked into the restaurant. I noticed he just walked it and went around the back. Following behind him I was lead to a table for two at the back of the restaurant.

There was a aquarium behind us filled with different colors of fishes.  The view was magical.
Taking off my coat he gave it someone and motioned for me to sit down, I sat down nervous as hell. Taking his seat, he was smiling and I was wondering what the hell he smiling about.

"So tell me a little about yourself", he said
" Wait, let me ask a question. Why did you ask me out for dinner on my first day of the job?, Do you do this to all your new employees?", I asked he seemed a bit shocked by my sudden outburst.

"No Ms Grey, I am not fond of taking out my new employees so please don't think that. I asked you out because I saw that you needed it. You looked like all the years of your life was stressful, sorry if I came off a bit harsh" he said sipping his water.

"Well thank you for that Mr King. I really appreciate it"
A waiter came just as he was about to say something and took our orders.

**After Dinner**

During dinner I found out a lot about him. He went to Yale University, his father passed away 2 years ago but his mother is currently living in New York. He has 3 siblings him being the youngest.

Dinner was great I fell in love with that restaurant. I was currently in his vehicle heading home. He was more happy out of the office. The work look was not on him any more.

Arriving at the hotel he turned off the car and looked at me.
"Thanks for dinner", I said getting ready to open my door.
"Your welcome", he said while giving me a kiss on my cheek.

Blushing I unlocked the seat belt and head out. Riding up the elevator I was thinking about dinner. He was so sweet. Heading out of the elevator I was surprised to see a vase with flowers infront of my room door.

Picking it up I went into and close the door. Looking for a card I picked it up and read it.

"I'll never leave you, your mine forever"
