Alex(POV)
After embracing Koki, I inquired about Jimmy's whereabouts. Koki replied, pointing to the front of the Tortuga, "He's flying the ship."
A grin emerged on my face, but I managed to hide it from everyone. "Where's his controller?" I muttered, too. Feeling frustrated, I walked around until I spotted the controller. As I reached for it, Jimmy rushed into the room and snatched it away.
"Not this time," he declared, holding the controller tightly and capturing everyone's attention. I raised my hands in surrender and sat down, pulling out my creature pod.
I perused the photos of the animals we had discovered together, including a snapshot of all of us on my inaugural voyage on the Tortuga.
I chuckled at the image of Jimmy losing his cool when I pilfered his controller and reminisced about the many other enjoyable moments we had shared.
