Chapter 22

Andreah's POV

Cole.

My ex boyfriend of 2 years. The love of my life..well he was. And how he was standing right in front of me with a girl wrapped around his waist.

"Andy?" He looked at me in disbelief. Yeah when I was dating him I did not look like this.

I was bigger. I wasn't as a pretty as I am now. I used to always get teased and picked on until I met Cole.

He treated me so right. He cared for me, whenever someone would pick on me he'd wanna fight them. But things changed. I soon lost the weight and changed my appearance. I looked better.

Cole started to get really angry. He would pick a fight if a guy just looked at me.

I couldn't be with someone who was violent. I used to watch him beat up guys over me.

I used to beg him to stop and I would always tell him how much I loved him but he kept doing it.

So I broke up with him. He was so angry and shocked. He begged me for a second chance but I couldn't. I was so upset that I just walked away.

Today is the first time I see him since that night I broke up with him 2 years ago.

"Hi" I mumble nervously.

"I don't believe this? H-how long has it been?" He asked still looking shocked to see me.

"Two years Cole" I say.

His lady friend nudged him. "Oh my bad babe, Andy I want you to meet my girlfriend Bella" he smiles turning to his girlfriend.

"Nice to meet you Bella I'm Andreah, and I'd like you to meet my-.." I stopped realising what I was gonna say.

Bella and Cole kept looking at me waiting for me to speak.

"..Her boyfriend" Reece spoke. I turned to him and smiled.

"Nice to meet you both" Bella smiled genuinely as she shook both our hands.

"Yeah good to meet you" Cole said but he didn't sound so assuring.

I could see him eyeing Reece out. This is awkward.

"So were gonna get going now, aren't we Reece?" I turned to him giving him a look saying 'I want to go'.

"Yes we were just leaving" Reece answered playing along.

"Oh don't go yet, there's a Ferris wheel that seats four in a carriage, come with us" Bella smiled happily.

Wow this chicks way too nice.

"Um..sure I guess" Reece agreed and we all walked to the Ferris wheel line.

This is gonna be awkward.

Me in a carriage with my ex boyfriend, his new girlfriend and my new 'boyfriend', this should be fun.

"So how did you two meet?" Cole asked Reece as we sat in the carriage.

"At school" Reece replies back.

I can tell things are gonna get awkward.

Why did this have to happen and on such a good night too?

"So how do you know Andreah?" Reece asked Cole.

Here it comes.

"She was my girlfriend" he answers back.

"Oh" was all Reece said.

"Aww Cole why did you break up with her she's so pretty" Bella asked Cole.

Ok she is really nice!

"Um babe things didn't work out" Cole replied back uncomfortably.

Finally the ride started moving slowly. We were getting higher and higher. Wow the view is amazing.

"So how did you two meet?" I asked trying to kill the awkward silence.

"She was interning at my dad's company and when I saw her we started talking" Cole replied back.

I look at Reece who seems to be uncomfortable. I give his hand a tight squeeze hoping he'll loosen up.

"You are both such a cute couple, babe don't they look so cute together?" Bella turned to Cole who was already staring at me.

"Yeah they're cute" Cole admitted uncomfortably.

The ride finally finished and I must say I was happy once we got off but that feeling didn't last too long when Bella opened her mouth.

"So do you guys wanna hang out tomorrow? Maybe see a movie?" She asked as we reached our car.

Cole gave her a confused look. "Why?"

"Um sorry Bella but I'm busy tomorrow night, the girls and I are having a sleep over" her face saddened showing she was disappointed. "...but maybe you'd like to come...?" It came out like a question but when I said that her face brightened up again.

I swear it looked like when a kid finds out they can have candy for dinner.

"Really?" She asked.

"..sure, here's my number..call me tomorrow" I smile writing down my number on her hand.

She smiles back "I will, it was great meeting you both".

"Yeah you too, bye" Reece waved.

"You look great by the way" Cole whispered just before I left. "Bye" he said louder this time.

I got in Reece's car and he began driving.

"I'm so sorry for that earlier, I haven't seen my ex for two years I wasn't expecting to see him here"

"It's ok. He's girlfriend seems very....friendly?" He said sounding unsure if that's the right word.

I laughed "She does doesn't she?"

"I had a really good time tonight" Reece said as soon as we were outside my front door.

"I did too, thank you" I smile happily.

He leans closer softly caressing my cheek. "Your so beautiful"

I blush "Thank you"

Suddenly his eyes travel down to my lips and he slowly leans closer to me until our lips met.

Butterfly's flew around in my stomach. Fireworks were going off in my heart.

It felt so right kissing him. His hand softly rubbed up and down my arm. I bit on his bottom lip and he eagerly parted his lips allowing me to deepen the kiss.

I don't know what came over me but I took charge. I grabbed a handful of his hair and gave it a soft tug.

He pulled away after a few seconds to catch his breath.

"I-i love you Andreah" he says looking straight into my eyes.
