Anonymous POV:

As she walked into the band room for her first day of high school, she seemed quite timid. But everyone that had been with her the past two weeks of band camp had known differently. We all knew she was certainly far from quiet and shy.

He stood in the room, not paying attention to anything while she bounded over to her friends, looking over her shoulder. Of course, neither of them paying attention led to the percussive sound as her books hit the floor from running straight into him.

Elle's POV:

"I mean you could choose another place to stand, other than right in front of my locker," I stated under my breath.

"Excuse me?" The brunet haired boy asked. "I'm standing here talking with people, at least you could watch where you're going! Besides, I didn't know this was your locker."

"How could you not know? It literally has my name on it," I retaliated.

"Oh my bad," he turns to look at the folded up paper with my name on it, "Elle. I didn't know you were so importantly known here," he shot back.

"Okay, no need to be rude whoever you are, I'm just trying to put away my stuff so I can get to class. So are you going to get out of my way, or should I knock into you one more time to make you move?"

The bell rings and the nameless asshole steps aside.

"Well I should probably leave, wouldn't want to stay here with you for another minute. It's Lucas by the way." He smirks before he turns around and walks away from the small group he was in. The two boys that were talking to him before look at me before giving an apologetic smile and walking away as well.

I bend down to the floor and grab my stuff while my best friend, Paula comes over to help me.

"What was that all about?" She asks.

"Honestly, I don't know. I'm pretty sure he's in band but I couldn't tell you what instrument he plays. I just hope I don't have to talk to him ever again." I reply a bit fumed.

"You probably won't, I mean he might not even be a freshman, so what are the chances he'll even be in one of your classes?"

"Very slim," I state as I shove my things into my locker.

Oh was I so wrong.
