The Beginning of The Start

Chapter 1. Beautiful Day

There was a sudden loud buzzing at 6am. Anna who just woke up has long smooth, wavy hair. It was a nice brown color and she had soft blue eyes to complement her relaxed attire. Looking at the clock she realized that she was late to make breakfast for her family. Even though she had to wake up very early to make food for her family Anna still enjoyed it. "Is it yummy Jett?" Anna said to her brother who was not much younger than she is but she still treated him like a child that of which he did not mind at all. He as well had brown hair with blue eyes though they were a quiet darker then Anna's. Jett wore messy clothing that wasn't that formal unlike how his sister needed to dress. "Yup! Did you do a new recipe by the way? It seems to taste waaaay better than usual." Jett replied. As they both laughed their father came into the room looking a bit irritated since he wasn't a fan of a sweet breakfast like how Anna intended for it to be. "Do you not like it dad? I know you like the usual but I wanted to-" Anna was cut off by her father with a harsh tone. "No. I don't like it. I understand that you wanted to do something for Jett but next time make it my way. Understand?" Anna looked a down at the floor giving a little nod. "Understood." Breaking the silence with a nervous but kind voice her mother began to clean up the table while saying "now now let's be nice. It's a beautiful day out! Let's have a beautiful attitude and keep an amazing smile." Keeping it positive Anna's mother kissed both of her children on the cheek and with tired eyes she would move the dirty dishes to the kitchen. Jett with a playful expression went upstairs as her father left for work. Going into the kitchen were her mother was doing the dishes Anna spoke up. "Mama? You don't look that great.. May I do the dishes for you? You're tired." Lea her mother looked at her young daughter. "Anna.. you don't need to be so nice. Please go out with your friends. As I said in there it's a beautiful day. I only have back pains. No need to worry." With a small smile she went back to work leaving Anna that will soon go back to her room. Once again there was a buzz. Checking her phone she received a message from her friend Yuki saying "Annnnnaaa! Answer! I swear I'll come kidnap you if you dont!" Along with more messages similar.  "Hey sorry ya know I was with family." She replied. "SO? I'm your best friend next time answeer!" Okay okay I will next time" Anna chuckled to herself knowing the day would be better then she thought it'd be. The messages continued and they had a nice yet funny conversation.

Yuki: "soo what you going to do. today?"
Anna: "I didn't really plan anything why? Had something in mind?"
Yuki: "Honey.  I always have something planned! Let's go to my fav park to hang out."
Anna: "A park? Seems a bit boring."
Yuki: "You're boring!"

And so they had planned to relax at a park. Anna grabbed her bag with her wallet just incase they were going to stop by some places like what usually happens when being with Yuki. Walking outside she began her walk to the park. Anna knows the area pretty well even though her family is on vacation in Japan. She often goes on walks so she knows how to get to the park at least. Thinking to herself she says "mama was right. A beautiful day it is. After arriving at the fairly empty park Anna smiled seeing Yuki. "Anna! Finally! Took you long enough" Yuki yelled. With a delighted smile, Anna responded. "Sorry if I took a little while woke up late. I mean like my family was hungry too soo the time adds up". They both began to laugh a bit "So how's Hinami Yuki? Last time I checked your relationship was going well." She asked. "Ya things are pretty good Nina finally approved." After saying that Yuki had a bit of an annoyed expression. "Well, Yuki. She is your sister after all so she could be a bit protective. I mean that shows she cares"afterward Anna flashes a grin at her. "Ya but could still get annoying in my opinion." As they continued to relax under the tree in silence someone walks up seeing as it was Yuki's other friend who's name was Jay that of which Anna didn't know. "Hey, Yuki I have something I need to talk to you about.." seeing it was almost 5 pm Yuki looked at Jay and replied "sure Anna you were planning on going right? If you want to stay and talk more I can speak to him later." Anna already putting things in her bag says "Nah I'll go. Besides, it looks kind of important so I won't stop you." Once again looking at Jay who seems a bit nervous about something Yuki tells him "alright let's go. Bye Anna! Seriously though I'm sorry." About to walk away Anna waves them goodbye as they disappear in the distance. So she calls a cab to take her home. She just sits in the car looking out the window avoiding conversation with the cab driver just thinking to herself.  With a sudden stop of the car knocked her back into reality. The driver was holding his hand out waiting for his payment "here you go love. Now that would be 2,000 yen." Looking through her bag she found her wallet that barely had enough. While holding the money up the driver grabbed it "have a good day sir.." Anna said as he drove off without acknowledging it. As she approached her door anxiety stopped her from opening without a flash of fear. She knew that her father was awake and she knew that Jett was not home so she was afraid. Before any more time passes she looked up seeing that her father opened the door along with an angry look. He wanted her home before the sunset that of which did not happen. "Sorry, dad. I didn't see the ti-" being interrupted again by her father closing the door in her face Anna realized that he was drunk. Anna sat on the stairs that would lead to the door as she just listened to the silence. Watching the birds fly their last hour and feel the warm breeze that will soon be no more. Anna was at peace as she thought about today. Today started ok the turned out to be pretty good though she knows that her punishment won't be pleasant. Finally getting up and walking back to the door she would knock three soft but loud knocks. Angrily her father would once again open up the door but he would have his belt in hand. Looking down for a moment she was dragged into the living room. "Remove your clothing." Doing as she was told Anna began to cry when her beloved father started to whip her bare back leaving scars that would take weeks to heal. Suddenly there was a loud bang on the wall as he demanded her to turn around facing him. With force, he grabbed Anna to then begin doing unspeakable actions that would bring the monster of a man pleasure. A few hours passed and Anna is now in her room feeling pains unimaginable. Her back had stopped bleeding from the whipping that felt like an eternity. She also felt gross even though this happened often. Her hair was pulled, her legs would have scratches, and she has the worst bruises on her stomach as well below her waist. Laying in bed she wanted to just call Amara who was one of the kindest souls you would ever meet. She was always there for her but even though she needed a friend she never did that night because she believed she had no right to complain nor tell anyone her secret. She believed that she has no right to say anything since there are others who have it worse. Keeping this in mind she closes her eyes drifting to sleep trying to ignore reality for that single moment. The day is new and a loud laugh is to be heard from downstairs. It seems that mama is home. She always brought joy to our lives she even made Anna's father smile. It was almost his guilty pleasure having her in his life. Walking downstairs with tired eyes Anna was greeted with a joke from Jett who was excited about the sleepover he just had and her mother looking unwell but smiling and cleaning up. Anna! You're finally awake! How was your sleep dear?" Her mother spoke up. "It was fine did I sleep in again?" Anna said while looking at the clock with worry. "Yes you did but no worries! Oh! By the way dear. Tomorrow we are leaving back to France so start packing up! Her mother said in a hurry. They were in Japan for a few months but they are finally going home. As her father walked upstairs Anna stopped him. "Dad I'm awake. I wouldn't waste time checking an empty room." Seeing as though she basically read his mind he turned around to glance at his daughter but turn his attention to his wife. "So Lea. What did the doctor say?" Pulling back her long brown hair in a ponytail she responded. "Well, I don't think it's a good idea to talk about this with the kids around. Sorry, hun." As if he was unhappy with that answer he sighed sitting down in the kitchen that was spotless at this point giving that Bella also known as Anna's mother cleans most of the day. The light walls had not one web nor did the floor have at all any spots. It almost seemed like she was perfect. Her light blue eyes scanned the room once more checking if things were in place caught her attention on Anna. "Why are you looking at me like that? Did I do something?" Seeing as though she started to stare at her mother's tired eyes and pale face Anna replied. "No mama. You just don't seem well right now. Are you okay?" Looking worried Lea tried reassuring her. "Of course dear! I'm as healthy as can be. Just a tad bit tired from the cleaning and such. Please don't worry about me. I need you to start packing. Can you do that?" With a nod, Anna starts to walk upstairs to then stop for just a moment to look at her mother again with worried eyes. Though she continues walking to do what she was told. Folding clothes that had just been washed, Anna checked her phone and there had been messages from another girl named Lyn.

Lyn: Hey
Lyn: How are you?
  -5 minutes later-
Lyn: Hello?
Lyn: I guess.. Nothing??

Lyn was a friend from home. To Anna they were practically sisters to tell you the truth. She even taught her Japanese as Anna taught Lyn French.

Anna: Hey sorry I was packing haha
Lyn: Ah it's fine just missing you
Anna: Ya I'll be home by tomorrow so  I'll see you soon I need to get back. to the packing so I'll message you when I arrive home. :)
Lyn: Alright. Talk to you later

So much time passes and Anna is now laying in bed. It's about 9pm now when Bella walks in. "Hey honey. I'm going to leave soon do you need anything before I go? Like water? something to eat?" With low wounded voice Anna would respond "No but mama?" With a concerned yet curious look she responds. "Yes?" Anna would suddenly look down avoiding eye contact. "Nevermind. How was your and dads date?" "It was wonderful darling. I'm lucky to have a man like him." Lea with an empty smile looks at the time "I need to go." With those words she walked over to Anna kissing her cheek. Afterwards she walked out and the last thing heard from her was the clicking of her heels down the hall. Leaving Anna alone with her thoughts she sighed in the quiet room with not much in it since everything was in bags that had already gone. Thinking about her mom she stared at the ceiling. Lea was a good mother. She would always put her children first even her husband. Her long light brown hair would complement her light blue eyes almost in a perfect way. Lea was beautiful inside and out. Anna can think about her mother of being a hero but not the same for her father sadly. He would be the rotten apprentice of the villain. She closed her eyes once again trying to think of the great memories shared with her mother and friends that would soon drift her into a deep sleep.
