AN: It's short. Don't kill me.
I couldn't get my mind off him. The whole time we were at the water park, the only thing I could manage to do is keep a bright smile on my face so no one would ask questions. I don't even know what I was thinking! How could I act so normal, and not tell my family? I don't want to worry them, this is something I can handle. If I only knew what to do.
Jacob pulled me out of my head. "Will you come with me on the Splash Attack? Everyone else wants to get some cotton candy." His cute smile was enough for me. I smiled back and grabbed his hand.
"Silla!" I had to yell over the loud crowd. "Can I take Jacob on Splash Attack?" She said okay.
We waited in line for about ten minutes. Jacob spent that time telling me about stuff at school and his nice teacher. Our turn was next. The dark red raft had two seats left and we sat down next to some family talking about some circus in town next month.
I never knew what the ride was or what happened, but I was surprised when I big splash of water came down on me and my neighbor. Jacob was laughing so hard at my expression, which I can only assume was the 'wet dog look'. Go figure. We hit huge rock that spun our circular raft spinning. The ride was almost over when I saw a slight shimmering in front of me.
I swear if it's what I think I, no, who I think it is, I'm gonna be so mad. I made one simple request! You would think a ghost of all life forms could wait a few hours.
The ride ended and the shimmering was moving a few feet in front of me till I decided to go to a port-a-potty. Beside the door was a large alleyway that was between another concession stand with fried fruit. Daniel is there, the shimmering was weaker than before.
"Daniel?" I didn't feel like being one of those girls who got killed in movies because they were being stupid.
"I'm here." It was a whisper, but it sounded like him. I walked down a little, still unsure of what I thought I was seeing.
"Don't fret, Anna. It's just me and I can promise that the last thing on my mind should be to hurt you in anyway." His image was clear now, like he was a live person. I let out a relieved sigh.
"Why are you here? I thought I said we would talk later." Stupid ghost doesn't listen to me, that butthead. He gave me an urgent look.
"I know but I couldn't wait. You are the first human to ever notice my presence! This is amazing."
