Also, be aware that these characters have opinions, and you may not agree. They are the characters opinions, not necessarily mine. Please do not get offended.
Some of the characters you will not know until later in the book, such as Summer, Sage, and Max, but they will mention them. So here is just a quick sentence or two about them.
Summer was Shays best friend in her pack, and also sister. They're twins.
Sage is Summer and Shays triplet. She's the youngest out of the triplets. She is very close to the other two, but is not a girly girl like them.
Max is Elijah's best friend.
(None of them have found their mate, except Sage, whose mate is dead. This will be explained later.)
