'Beep'
I was awoken by the annoying sound of my alarm clock. I had to get up and go to school. If it was my decision I wouldn't waste my time going to school. But I was literally dragged there by my mom and best friend. According to them, education is important.
I got up out of bed and walked towards my bathroom. I took a shower, brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, and went to look for an outfit. Today I decided to wear some white shorts and a light blue crop top with a Infiniti sign.
I grabbed my phone and went down stairs. My mom wasn't home because she had to work but I didn't care she's barley home anyway. To her, work is more important then being home and spending time with her own daughter. Like I said, I didn't mind. I'd rather be home alone anyway. I'm not the kind of girl who enjoys to be around people 24/7. People might think that though because at school I'm always with a big group of friends, but deep down i'd prefer to be alone. I'm not sure why I feel like that but I was just always like that.
Anyway back to the point. I walked through the kitchen, grabbed an apple and walked out the door, locking it on the way out. I walked over to my neighbors house and just walked in. Now before you think 'why are you just walking in some persons house' I'm not. One of my best friends lives there.
"Marco" I yelled throughout the house waiting for a reply
"Polo" he replied.
My neighbor and one of my best friends is names Robby. We have been living beside each other for as long as I could remember. He was a grade ahead of me and he was just like a brother to me, but deep down I had a crush on him. I have always had a crush on him since I laid eyes on him. He was tan, muscular, his gorgeous brown eyes along with his brown hair, and last he was captain of the football team. He was every girls dream. Girls all over school threw there selves at him, but he always pushed them away. He wasn't like those cliche tv show or movie football captains who 'hump' and 'dump' girls. He actually cares and wasn't heartless.
And you may think it's childish to scream 'marco' 'polo' but that's how we were. If we ever went shopping or went somewhere and got split up, we would always do that. It was our thing and everybody knew it.
"Hey sparky!" he said as I walked into his room.
I smiled at the nickname
"Hey Cosmo" I replied back
"Your never gunna let that go are you" he asked me about his nickname.
"Nope" I said popping the 'p'
See me an him have this weir connection that we call each other names but we usually just stick to one. He calls me sparky because I don't take any ones crap. If a person says one word I don't like, I won't hesitate to tell them how I feel, even if it hurts some feelings. And Robby's nickname 'Cosmo' is when we went to a party and got wasted that we both passed out on the floor, when we woke up we didn't remember what happened from the night but when I looked at him his hair was colored green. My first thought was the 'fairly odd parents' so he was stuck with the name Cosmo.
He laughed and walked over to his dresser, he picked out a shirt and took the one he was wearing off. I couldn't help but stare. Yea yea I know it was wrong, he was my best friend and all I'm doing is looking at his body. But I'm a girl friends or not I will look especially if a guy has a six pack which Robby does ;)
