I never did really explain what my character Oklahoma looks like. I have drawn many pictures, but I will just describe it. Ash Jones is very copper skinned due to his Native American heritage. He has black straight hair that was cut short in the 19th century. You will hear more of this in later chapters. His hair is shaggy looking and partly in his face, but it is longer in the back and goes to about the bottom of his neck. He wears a red feather that points down on the left side in his hair. The feather comes from a cardinal. I picked a cardinal because I have a family of them living in my backyard and I found a beautiful wing feather the other day right by my fence.
He wears a bomber jacket that has the number 46 on the back. The reason for this is that his father, America, gave him a matching one to his in the 1930's so bring them closer. This did work, and Oklahoma wears it all the time with a white T-shirt underneath. He wears boot cut blue jeans with cowboy boots. The pants are not tucked into the boots. He also wears a belt with a larger belt buckle.
Now a bit of his personality. He hardly ever smiles, and it always looks as if he is glaring at you. However, he is very family oriented and competitave. He gets along well with the other countries, including Britain. He has constant fights with Texas due to their rivalry, but they still love each other, even though they will never admit it. He gets along with most other middle states, but gets aggravated at the eastern states. He gets along very well with Arkansas and, surprisingly, his father.
Although he looks very solemn and might keep to himself, he loves playing games, especially American Football. It's not too hard to make him smile, and he loves playing pranks. He is very naive, however, and is very easy to prank himself.
