"Must you be so stubborn."

"If I wasn't, then what kind of friend would I be?"

"That is exactly why we aren't friends." Of course, he's only joking. We're best friends.

"You don't mean that." I pout, just for extra effect.

"You're one of a kind, Kay." Chris just shakes his head, smiling a little.

Me and Chris have been friends since forever, he could never let me go.

We continue our journey to freedom from hell. Hence me currently pushing some kid out of the way.

I'm pretty sure his name is Daniel. He deserved it.

If you haven't guessed we are on our way out of the school.

"Do you have to be so rude," I roll my eyes. Yeah, he's the one to talk. " He was just going about his day while you- very rudely, I might add -pushed him. Poor kid."

I scoff at this, immediately coming to my own defense. "It was only a light push. Besides he was in the way, it was either push him there, or push that dude." I point to a very, very large guy.

I mean seriously, is he on steroids?

He says nothing, but rolls his eyes at me. He's the one to talk. He's the meanest person I know.

"We finally made it!"

"Why are you so dramatic?" He asks. "It isn't necessary."

"Whatever," I start, not fazed by his rudeness. "Do you still need a ride home, or did you find somebody else to to bother?"

"You know, you're not funny," He replies dryly.

"So, no ride home then." I say and start walking off.

"Wait, I didn't mean that!" He calls after me, "C'mon Kyra!"

"You're lucky you're my best friend." I say unlocking my truck.

"Yeah, yeah." He says, waving me off as he gets in.

"Where to?"

"Narnia."

"You think you're funny, don't you?"

"I don't think, I know."

"Well you can walk your funny self home." I say jokingly

"Okay, okay," He holds his hands up in surrender."I give. My house."

The rest of the ride is somewhat silent, other then listening to the songs on the radio and singing along. And don't forget the occasional rude comment coming from Chris about my driving.

I pull up his driveway and turn the radio down.

"Get out of my truck Christopher."

"Uh, rude." He replies, but none the less, gets out.

"See ya!" He calls right before walking into his house.

Now to Hell No.2

"Kayyyyyyyy!" I freeze in my spot, keys still in my hands hovering over the tray.

"Yes?" I say cautiously.

"Where's the game controller?" Dang. He knows.

I decide to play dumb. "I don't know."

My brother turns the corner, his eyebrows raised. I look over him subconsciously. His blonde hair is getting long, and his green eyes shining. He looks kinda tan, but it's probably dirt.

Take a shower Kyle.

"Really?" He starts, "'Cause I could have sworn it was on the t.v. stand."

"Someone could've moved it?" I ask more than say, cause I know I'm backed in a corner.

"We're the only ones who live here Kyralene."

Ooooh, he used my full name. Yikes.

I blow a lock of red hair out of my face. Last resort.

"I can hide the remote if I want to. I'm the boss. You're only 14."

"It's mine!" He shouts

"Who bought it?" I smile at him. "Oh yeah. I did. Huh, what a coincidence."

"Why would you even hide it?" He looks murderous.

Eh, he's harmless.

I shrug. "You're on it too much."

"Your so infuriating!" He yells, then calmly adds, "Oh, and we're out of milk."

Bipolar much?

"We'll live."

"No we won't. How else will I eat my Lucky Charms?"

"Kyle, we don't have Lucky Charms." I laugh lightly.

"Well maybe we should." He grumbles.

He doesn't even eat cereal.

"Well, while you sit here and complain to yourself, I'm going to my bedroom." I reply while heading off to my room.

I just stare at the page full of problems I never learned how to solve.

Thanks for all that teaching Mr. Keever. Thank you.

I eventually just give up on doing it on my own and decide I'll call Chris. He's smart. I think.

It rings 3 times before he picks up.

"Sup?"

"Heyyy bestfriend."

"What do you need?" He asks with a laugh.

"What the heck was Mr. Keever thinking?" I say, irritated.

"Look, we have the entire weekend to do that stupid page, and you're calling me now?" He asks sarcastically.

"I did say that, didn't I?" I ask cringing.

"Yup," He says popping the 'p'. "You did."

"Forgive and forget?" I ask

"Sure, Kay," he says laughing. "I'll send you pictures."

With that he hangs up, and "forgets" to send the pictures.
