If you're outside, I may implore you
To look at your surroundings as if you
Are a newcomer on this earth.
Look upon this planet as if you've never seen it before,
Notice everything you've taken for granted.
Notice the unique pattern in one birds wings,
Or the curve of a branch in a tall oak tree.
These things are beautiful
And it is only once you notice the details
That you can see the world in full.
