Chapter One
Today was a day like every other day; I overslept for school, skipped breakfast with a five minute lecture from mum about the most important meal of the day as I tried to multi task. I really don't know why she wastes her breath because she knows it's a part of my daily routine.
"Love you mum!"
Luckily my school was a thirty second walk away so there was no chance of being late if I woke up thirty minutes before the first bell.
I received a message from my best friend Claire. It read that a new boy was joining our form group, just great, another boy who thought the world of himself when he isn't even all that.
As soon as I saw the new boy, I wanted to cry at his beauty.
"So what do you think?"
"I think you should never speak or think too soon."
I walked right over to him and said began flirting mode.
I took out my hand and introduced myself, "I'm Adrianne, who may you be?"
He sneezed and took out his hand and said, "Sorry, love, I have a cold."
I quickly returned to my original position. "I feel like a complete idiot!"
"Why don't I blame you? Claire sighed. A hand shake, Adrianne, you're fourteen, not forty!"
"All right my lovely form group, I am now taking the register, now be quiet, you don't want to miss your science exam."
"Miss, you wouldn't honestly keep us behind for not being quiet and make us miss an exam, would you?"
"No, Taylor, but I would be tempted to and you would only be a few minutes late so I advise everyone to zip it!"
After Miss Joy took the register, she got the new boy to come to the front of the class.
"I know your name but why don't you introduce yourself to the class."
"What up, I'm Jordan, I'm fifteen and I come straight from New York, yo!"
I never realised his accent when he spoke to me. He's American! No wonder why he's so hot! I've always wanted an American boyfriend.
It's time for your first lesson, go on ahead.
"The bell hasn't rung yet, Miss."Said Jordan.
"Yes, Jordan, but it's advisable you're early for an exam, Adrianne, you're the friendliest person in this class, be his tour guide for today please."
"Yes, Miss!" I tried to hide the biggest smile in the world which was stuck on my face right now.
"All right, Jordan, I can't believe you never had a tour on your induction!"
"I did, and I don't need your help, I know exactly where the exam room is, don't try pulling any stunts!"
"I-I was just going to do what I was told."
"You're a teenager, we never do as we are told, what are you some kind of geek? What Miss Joy doesn't know won't hurt her, she'll feel no pain!"
As Jordan walked off I felt so hurt.
"Everyone should see biology, paper one, on their desk, I hope to not find any other irrelevant stuff including mobile phones, iPods', make up, all pencil cases must be see-through and everyone must have a pen, pencil, ruler, rubber and all the basic requirements, it is now five minutes to nine..."
