Exam season was just around the corner and Sumin focused on her schoolwork more than ever before. This was her chance to make something out of her life, since everyone saw her as a failure. Work came second; her future came first.

Sumin was sitting in the bus on her way to school that morning and exhaustion was written all over her face. Her book was in her hands and she tried to study the last minutes for her first exam. She couldn't study the night before since she was with Exo at the live show, which meant that she wasn't at home until late night.

Something that distracted her mostly was Baekhyuns behavior. He didn't even dare to look at her, not even speaking to her. The boy sat in front of the girl and closed his eyes, letting Sumin do her work quietly. She thought that he acted like this to her because of her anger outburst but if Sumin knew what happened after that, she would get more confused.

The bus stopped near her school and the student ran to the gates before the bell rang. Everyone was already in their classes, there were some other students left who also were late but Sumin was the only one running. She entered the large hall and ran into her class, staring at all the students and her teacher, who had a serious face on.

"Miss Ahn, you're finally here." The high-pitched voice said, making Sumin nervous. She bowed her head while apologizing for being late and sat at the back of the class.

"Okay, everyone, we will start with the first exam of your last school year. You all know the rules, if I catch you cheating I'll confiscate your exam and you will automatically fail." The woman looked at Juhyun, giving him warning signals but the boy only chuckled.

"She means you, Sumin!" He commented loudly and turned to the front again. The girl only shook her head while she took out her stuff. The exams were handed out and the students could start.

Almost two hours passed and Sumin wrote her last word. She sighed loudly and looked up only to realize that she was the only one left in the class room with Mrs. Cho.

"Are you done, Sumin?" The teacher walked up to her. The girl nodded tiredly and handed her the exam, ruffling her hair afterwards. She put a lot of work into it and she hoped for the best to come out. 'Maybe I'll pass the first one.'

"I'm sorry if I won't pass. I should've studied more." Sumin said sadly and got up from her seat, she took her jacket and her bag.

"Why are you apologizing?"

"I don't know." The student couldn't look up at her teacher. She was ashamed because of all her bad grades. "It's like you wasted your time to tutor a stupid girl like me."

Mrs. Cho gulped after she noticed how Sumin acted in front of her. It was the first time after years that she looked like this. The small girl was actually loud and always cheerful but now she looked broken.

"You're not stupid, Sumin." The teacher sat in front of her and pointed at her chair, gesturing the student to sit down too. "Yes, maybe you're not good in every subject, but you're good in other things. Maybe math isn't something for you, or biology. You're good in English and Art and I'm sure you're also good in many other things."

Sumin sniffed and chuckled sadly. "Then why is everyone expecting me to do better? I'm not good enough." She looked up and stared right at her teacher.

"No one is perfect. The person who told you that is not perfect. Not even me, I'm also not perfect. But you know what?" The teacher smiled. "You're perfect in being you. No one should be dragged down if they're not good in something they try to be good in."

"Then why are you always getting mad at me?" The girl pouted lightly and dried her tears.

"As a teacher, I have to be strict. I try to get the best out of my students, even if I have to be loud and strict." Mrs. Cho smiled when she noticed the smile on Sumins face.
