Tears Of a Diamond &Jasper

The start of a new bond

The sun was setting as the skies were a mixture of an orange purple. Blue Diamond walked out of the temple and was wearing a sweater that covered her face and was wearing the bottom part of a bikini.  She had gotten used to the earthly customs here and was enjoying it. " Has it really been more than 30 years since I decided to stay here? For the sake of Pink- I mean Steven." as she smiled and was enjoying the view. Out in the open, there was someone near the shore and it looked like someone familiar as it was Jasper.  Jasper was staring out at the ocean as she was still processing all of the events of what just happen. The war, how she was cured of corruption and the truth behind Pink Diamond.  Jasper stood there just like a statue and didn't even move not even an inch.   Blue Diamond laughed as the giant lady sat down beside the Quartz gem and looked at her"  why are you out here... all by yourself"  as she yawned.

Jasper looks at Blue Diamond  and straightens up, "my diamond!" Jasper nearly gives her the salute again. She stops herself short but stands straight as hell. "Is there anything I can do for you?"  

  "Please not so formal... After what Steven has thought me... I'm just a gem just like you" As she smiled and sat down near the shore as the water was hitting her feet. She moved her toes in and out of the sand to enjoy herself as the water from the ocean cleans off her feet.  

  "My Di...Uh, Blue. I apologize, it's mostly habit. I won't do it again!" Jasper says sternly, she still looks rigid. Her expression super serious and stoic.  Jasper did not know what to do, as Jasper was very confused on what to do. 

  "Hey relax " As she shrunk down to her size and looked at her "makes you feel any better? " 

Jasper stared at the diamond, her eyes meeting hers. Her posture still didn't change much. "You're still a Diamond. A gem like me but flawless." Jasper grunted, her chin up, shoulders squared, and back straight. 

  Blue Diamond sighed as she knew that she was still loyal to her but wanted her to be more than herself. Blue knew that we are all made differently and really wanted her to be more like what she could be instead of what she wanted them to be.   "True but again I am a gem just like you. Nothing more nothing less... Now just relax and be yourself you goofball unless you have something good else in mind? "

  Jasper's gaze shifted, but she remained stiff. "Blue I'm a quartz soldier, I'm not made for that kind of stuff."  She knew her place and didn't want to make her angry or sad. " You are a Diamond the Elite of the Elite. What can an excuse of a Quartz soldier do when she couldn't even help her diamond..." 

  "I mean look at pink... She was made to rule and look who she was and what, she did....no diamond could ever do but she did it...she went against her own kind to protect other living things and how we use to shun them away. She did everything that no one thought and Quartz and Diamond can do. "  said  Blue Diamond

  Jasper's gaze instantly locked on Blue when she mentioned Pink. Jasper had leftover emotions still to deal with. She refuses to refer to Rose as Pink. Sometimes calling her a Quartz on occasion. She knows the truth but isn't willing to face it. "I'm not like her. I'm just a soldier."  

  "Pink diamond was rose... And a diamond became a quartz soldier to start a war again her own kind... If she can do that... Then you can be anything... " As a tear came down from her face.  Blue Diamond stood up and brushed the sand off her legs. "I'm the one brings of hard stuff from the past... " As she states to walk towards the water and grows larger to her original size.
