Quidditch tryouts had not been difficult for Marlin or Ari. In fact, they were very easy, and both of the girls got their preferred position.

Ari and Marlin had both become the seekers for their houses. Marlin for Ravenclaw. Ari for Gryffindor. Marlin knew, now that Gryffindor had an amazing team. Ari knew, now that Ravenclaw had an amazing seeker.

The Marauders knew, however, that this was the perfect opportunity to play the perfect prank. Or...pranks.

Marlin and Ari had both been working very hard during their practices. They were exhausted after every single one, but they still continued to work hard.

Some of the Ravenclaws still acted like Marlin was under an invisibility cloak, but a lot of them-most of them-had opened up and accepted her. The quidditch team really liked her. This gave her a much needed confidence boost, especially since their first match was against Slytherin in a week.

Ari was having a lot more fun than Marlin was, as she was frenemies with two people on her team. Though, sometimes she did have trouble concentrating when The Marauders kept whispering and giggling behind her. Which she really didn't have time for, considering their first match was in two weeks against Hufflepuff.

Marlin made her way to the Ravenclaw common room. She was too tired to talk to anyone, including Ari. And after homework and quidditch all week, Ari felt the same way. So the two girls went to sleep, forgetting completely about their prank war.

Marlin jolted upright, breathing heavily. She had a horrible nightmare... they had lost the match to Slytherin. But, alas, twas only a dream. Nothing more.

Marlin quickly got dressed and went downstairs. The girl just pushed her breakfast around her plate, she would admit that she was a little nervous. It was her first match, what was she supposed to do?

After she was "finished eating" she headed up to the Gryffindor common room to hang out with Ari before the match. The red head always knew how to calm her down.

Marlin plopped down on the couch and started reading her muggle novel that she had brought with her from home. She knew Ari would not be up yet, so she would patiently wait until she came down.

After what seemed like forever, Marlin heard footsteps. She closed her book, and said,

"It took you long enough. I've been waiting her forever!" As she closed her eyes and stretched. She was not ready for the low chuckle that followed her statement.

Marlin almost fell off the couch, but luckily, Remus was there to save her. A light blush slowly crept to her cheeks. She made sure she didn't look at him.

"Didn't know you were waiting for me, darling. I would've hurried if I had known." Remus whispered in Marlin's ear.

"No.. I-uh... Ari... Umm.. Actually." She couldn't speak.

"God! What is he DOING to me?!" Marlin thought to herself as she watched him sit on the couch beside her. He caught her staring at him and she blushed, but she couldn't look away. He smirked.

"So. What are you reading?" He asked her, nodding to the book she was trying to keep out of sight. Marlin blushed even brighter.

"I-uhh.... it's a muggle book..." Marlin said. Her face heated. Remus's eyes widened slightly.

"You're muggle-born?" He said. Marlin nodded. She finally looked at him.

"Ari is pureblood. She's from this HUGE wizard family in America. They don't mind muggleborns, though. They're not bad people, the Winkles..." Marlin's voice trailed off. Remus took this as a sign that she did not want to talk about this any longer.
"What is it like? America?" Remus said. Marlin smiled at him.
