I walked the busy streets of L.A on a monday morning. It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for some cold frappe. I walked to the nearest Starbucks, the small bells chiming as I walked in.

''Good morning, ma'am. What would you like?'' the lady at the counter says.

''Um, I'd like a cold caramel frappucino please.'' I said, fixing the strap of my camera.

''That'll be 3 dollars please.'' she said. I handed the money and I took the change, putting it inside my bag.

I sat down for a while and read a random magazine from their magazine rack.

''One cold caramel Frappucino!'' the lady at the counter calls and I reach for my drink only to be met by another hand.

''Excuse me, I think that's mine.'' I said, sounding rather bitchy. But can you blame me? I am dying for a frappe right now.

''I believe that's mine.'' a cute British accent says. I look to see a guy with curly hair, staring back at me. Quite surprising seeing a British guy in Los Angeles.

'No, it's MY frappe.' I retort, not caring how cute he is.

''How about we ask this lovely lady who ordered first.'' he said, referring to the girl behind the counter.

''Go ahead.'' I reply, still not removing my hand from the cup and neither does he.

'Excuse me miss! We were just wondering who ordered this drink first?' he asks, sounding flirtatious, and I tried my best not to gag.

'I believe she was here before you.' the girl replies, not bothering to look up. I can feel the triumphant smirk form in my face, while his smile fades. I tug at the drink, freeing it from his hand. I flash him a smile and walked to him. I leaned close to his ear, whispering ''I told you so." before walking out. As I went out, I bring the straw to my lips and took a deep sip of my drink still smiling. He got served right for being not such a gentleman.

I stood on the sidewalk and called for a cab.

-

''Bye Destiny!'' the little girl waved and I smiled back. I love little kids. and I'd love to have one someday.

I walked on the sidewalk after a long day of taking pictures in the park. The clouds looked heavy so I was rushing a little, knowing I didn't bring an umbrella.

Typical L.A with it's shitty weather.

Before I knew it, the rain poured and I was getting wet. I made sure my camera didn't get wet by covering it with my hands. I walked to the stoplight shielding my head with my bag from the pouring rain.

''Hey, miss. We can share my umbrella.'' the familiar British accent said. I looked to my side to see the same curly-haired guy, smiling.

''You again?'' I frowned, refusing to stay under the shade of his umbrella. And before I know it, he pulls me by the blazer and I almost tripped.

''Talk about rude.'' I scoffed before crossing the street, still staying under his umbrella.

''Hey, I'm just helping.'' he replied, catching up with my phase. I rolled my eyes and continued walking.

''Look, I'm sorry about what happened earlier.'' he said stopping at the other end of the sidewalk after crossing.

''It's not much of a big deal.'' I replied, facing him.

''No really, infact I think I owe you a ride back home." he said, smiling cheekily. I can't help but smile.

''Ha! Got you to smile.'' he smiled, revealing his deep dimples. I bit my lip, hating myself for slipping up.

''So, what do you say?'' he asked.

''No thanks, I can catch a cab.'' I said, continuing to walk again. He looks like a pretty decent guy but I can't just trust a complete stranger who I just met today AND even tried to steal my frappe.

''It's late and it's raining. It's quite hard to catch a cab right now.'' he said, obviously trying to change my mind.

''Thank you, newscaster. I wouldn't have known!" I said, sarcastically. He smirked.

''Okay then, I'll stay here with you until you TRY to catch a cab.'' he said, emphasizing 'try.' I raised my eyebrow.

"Tss, whatever.'' I snort, returning my eyes on the road. It was no lie, people were rushing to cabs and it's almost like cabs were running out.

''So, may I know the name of this beautiful girl standing right next to me?'' he said, charmingly.

'Will that make you go away?'' I said, ignoring the fact that if he went away, I would be soaking wet.

''Possibly.'' he replies and I let out a deep sigh.

"Destiny, now go away." I said, frantically waving my hand infront of the cabs passing me. Unluckily, they all have passengers inside.

''It wasn't a promise. Anyway, changed your mind?" he smiled cheekily.

''Fine.." I sighed as a smile forms on his face.

"Good, now c'mon.'' he said, pulling me infront of an expensive-looking Audi R8.

"Nice ride." I said, impressed and he smiles.

"Thank you." he says, opening the door for me to get in. I got in and so did he.

"I really don't know why I should trust you." I said, facing him.

"I'm Harry. Now that I'm not a stranger to you, can I give you a ride back home?" he said, shaking my hand.

"Too late to ask that, I'm already in your car." I smirked and buckled up. He smiled and drove off.

-

I gave him directions to my house.

Trust me, it was hard work but what do you expect from a British kid in L.A?

He pulled up infront of my house. The rain has stopped a few minutes ago so it was safe now.

"Thanks for the ride, Harry." I gave him a warm smile.

"No problem, Destiny." he smiled back.

"Oh and nice meeting you.'' he said once more, before I walked out. I smiled.

"Same to you."

I walked out and shut the door behind me.

"Hey, Destiny!''

"Yeah?" I looked back at Harry.

"I was wondering if I could have your number?'' he shyly said. I thought Why not? He seems like a nice guy. well, despite the fact he tried stealing my frappe. But, to hell with it.

"Yeah sure, why not.'' I said, smiling. I took a pen out of my shoulder bag and he offered his hand.

"I don't have paper here sorry." he said, scratching his head. Ofcourse.

I wrote my number on his palm.

"There. Just give me a call, if you wanna hangout." I flashed him a smile as he drives off.
