It was a cold and snowy night in Moscow when I first met him.. I believe it was sometime late November, if I remember clearly. This is the story of when I first met your father...

'Im going to be late!' I thought as I ran through the streets and sidewalks of Moscow Russia. I tried my hardest to not bump into anyone, but I failed miserably. I finally stopped running when I bumped into someone hard enough to make the both of us fall.

Matthew Williams Point of view:
I'm visiting Russia for a ballet competition, I'm going to be staying here for about a month or two.

As I left the studio I realized how cold Russian winters can be. I wrapped my coats tightly around me and I pulled up my hoodie and walked through the streets of Moscow. Its really pretty here, although its colder than Canadian winters, I dont know how people can live here.

As I was looking around at all of the scenery someone bumped into me and I fell. As I hit the floor I was about to go off on her, well.. Try to until that someone started saying her apologies in a very panicked tone.

Anya Braginskaya Point of view:
I hit the cold stone sidewalk with a grunt, I sat up a bit and looked ahead of me to see a man on the floor also, he looked pretty young, but I couldn't tell because his head was down as he stood up. He also looked angry and I began to shy away as I was saying, more like frantic whisper-yelling. "I-Im so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going! I didn't see you!!" I said as I rushed to my knees and crawled over to the man to try and help him up.

As I rushed over to him I grabbed his arm and to help him stand up, but as I was helping him up he looked at me and it was like all of his anger disappeared. I stood up completely and looked into his eyes, it was at that moment that I knew that I couldn't let him get away, that he was the one.

I realized I was still holding onto his arm and I immediately let go. I looked up at him and he was pretty tall, he has somewhat long light blond hair, violet eyes, glasses and a crazy curl poking out front his head. "I-Im sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you! How could I apologize?" I was never good at talking to people I haven't met, or being in social situations in general.

He raised his brows and put his hands up and backed away a little bit "N-No.. T-There's no need." He said nervously as he looked away.

I looked down and thought. "Do you like hot chocolate..? I-If so I know a good café.." I said as I slowly looked up and met his gaze. He looked down and met my gaze as he thought for a moment and looked out at the harsh winter snow. After a moment he nodded with a soft smile "Yeah..sounds good."

I smiled warmly and grabbed my duffel bag from the ground and his wrist as I guided him to the café. It was nice, walking on the sidewalks of Moscow with someone instead of being lonely on a cold night. The street lights illuminating the streets and the warm fuzzy-ness of the shops we were passing by.

After awhile of walking in a comfortable silence, I stopped in front of a homey looking cafe and walked in.

Matthew Williams Point of view:
After awhile of walking through the city she stopped and opened the doors of this small and sweet cafe. "This place is great on cold nights, and for whenever you want hot chocolate." She softly said with a giggle.

I looked around at the cafe and it had wooden floors and logs for walls, tables for four scattered about, a fire place with two arm chairs and a sofa for three, windows on the left and next to the front door, and paintings. Just behind the counter there was an upstairs, so I'm guessing the owner had a office or their bedroom is up there, and to the right was the kitchen and storage area.

She waved to the people at the counter and found a seat next to the window and fire place. She motioned for me to come sit down so I sat in front of her and she sat her duffel bag in the seat next to her.

"Would you like any thing in your hot chocolate?" She asked as she stood up and grabbed her wallet. I stood up also and took my wallet out "No, you're not paying." I said as I looked through my wallet for any Russian ruble that I had gotten for my trip.

She put her hand on my hand and lowered it "I was the one who started this mess, let me fix it?" She asked with a unsure look on her face. I sighed and complied as I put my wallet back in my pocket "Maple syrup please." I said as I sat back down and as she nodded and went to the counter to order.

While she was gone I looked down at my hands 'Her hands are soft and so cold..' I thought as I rubbed my thumb over my palm as I waited for her.

I was soon pulled from my thoughts as she came back to the table and sat back down "So, Tell me about yourself." She said with a happy smile as she rested her head on her hands with her elbows propped up on the table.
