Jock!Dean/Hipster!Cas

Exactly 5 days have passed since Cas went over to Deans house. Dean had said nothing, not even a peep to Castiel about anything, and vise-versa. Dean was only following rules set by his friend, Charlie. She said to him that Cas has to call first, but Dean wasn't sure if he was going to.

Cas followed the same advice set by his little brother, because Gabe did go out on a lot more dates than him. It was exactly the same advice that Charlie gave Dean. Not to call.

However, on this day, Dean was so frustrated. He told Gabe to tell Cas to meet him underneath the bleachers after third period. Cas couldn't really say no, because then Gabe would have to go tell Dean, and Cas wasn't risking his little brothers life just because he was being stubborn.

Cas had English at third period. He didn't mind missing because they were reading "The Outsiders" he didn't really care for the book, so he just went straight to the football field. He saw Dean sitting under there with Charlie. They were laughing and she kept touching him. Cas got so angry and he immediately left. He didn't even care that he would have to stay after class in English for being late.

But he didn't know that Charlie was pretending to be Castiel towards Dean. To prepare him for the real thing. Charlie and Dean were friends, and nothing more. Charlie didn't even like guys in the same way Dean liked guys.

After third period, Dean realized that Cas wasn't going to come. He was incredibly sad. He thought Castiel liked him. He felt so stupid. But he couldn't give up yet.

Just before fifth period was up, Dean left class to go to the bathroom. He saw Cas walking in the halls, where he was going, it looked like even he didn't know. Cas looked happy one second then upset upon seeing Dean Winchester. He turned his music up as loud as he could and ignored him.

Dean smiled and waved. But no avail from Castiel. Dean was heartbroken. But he though "maybe he just didn't see me." But deep down, he knew that he saw him.

Later that day, Dean called Castiel.

Dean: "hello?"

Cas: "hey."

Dean: "is um, Cas there?"

Cas: "speaking. What do you want Dean? Haven't you caused enough trouble?"

Dean: "what do you mean? I was just calling you to ask you out, like, on a date."

Cas: "I know your plan Dean. I'm not going. Bye."

Dean: "wha-"

Cas hung up on him.
