This might not exactly be a drarry quote but right before draco and harry see eachother on the train before 3rd year:

‘Draco Malfoy and Harry had been enemies ever since they had met on their very first train journey to Hogwarts.’

I find it odd how JKR doesn’t include their first meeting at madam malkin’s..the first time they met wasn’t on the train, no?
Does she not want to include  the part in the beginning of their relationship where they were actually civil with each other? Does this mean Harry didn’t see the boy in the robes shop as an enemy? I don’t know, just a curious detail.

During the same encounter on the train draco says:

“Well, look who it is,” said Malfoy in his usual lazy drawl, pulling open the compartment door.’ “Potty and the Weasel.”

I love this quote because:

I just imagine 13 year old draco scribbling a bunch of “mean” nicknames down (like he probably has a wastebasket full because he’s such a weenie)

I love how draco is already fucking stalking harry and they’re not even at school yet (either he has their compartment memorized or he just searched through all of them)

Bullies usually bully other people, right? Draco just seeks out harry and his friends to annoy him all the time and it's just so funny to me

And then of course there’s the time Harry fainted and draco literally runs up, elbows hermione, just to block harry’s path:

“You fainted, Potter? Is Longbottom telling the truth? You actually fainted?”
‘Malfoy elbowed past Hermione to block Harry’s way up the stone steps to the castle, his face gleeful and his pale eyes glinting maliciously.’

And of course draco would tease him about this because of course he would.
I love how draco overheard neville from a different compartment on the train or all the way across the hall (maybe his ears just perked up whenever he heard harry’s name)

And draco just has to elbow past hermione to block harry’s path
(because he’s always trying to get a reaction out of him)

And maybe, just maybe, harry just interpreted it as being made fun of..
Maybe, secretly, draco was a bit concerned for harry and wanted to find out more

Because, let’s face it, draco and harry can duel each other, drive reactions out of each other, but neither of them would actually want anything terrible to happen to the other (death, dementor’s kiss, etc)

When madam pomfrey offers to take him into the hospital wing to check him out:

“I’m fine!” said Harry, jumping up.
‘The thought of what Draco Malfoy would say if he had to go to the hospital wing was torture’

I mean no one enjoys being made fun of, but I don’t really care what my enemies think about me..
Harry seems to have a recurring pattern of actually valuing what draco thinks of him above most others.. hmm

Draco is literally so animated and hilarious like he pretends to faint so many times in front of everyone to get harry’s attention and when harry gets pissed fred and george ask him about it:

“New third-year course schedules,” said George, passing them over.’
“What’s up with you, Harry?”
“Malfoy,” said Ron, sitting down’

And i find it interesting that it's always Malfoy on Harry’s mind..like even when he’s supposed to be thinking about dementors or the tri-wizard tournament or i don't know fighting VOLDEMORT, its always about what malfoys up to or how to get back at malfoy or what malfoy’s doing across the great hall
