Shadows P.O.V:

I jump slightly at the voice and Gil and I pull away from each other as quickly as possible. We both look up at Harry. I remove my legs from their place on top of Gil's legs. I'm angry now. I hate being scared by anything.

I lean forward and grab my sword. I then up and put my sword in its holster and death glare Harry. I then start to walk out just as I reach the door "Shadow, where are you going, don't you wanna learn more about sword fighting?" Gil asks from behind me. I don't turn around, but I stop walk and look at the ground shaking my head.

I then open the door and run all the way out and to my secret hideout. It is in Mal's old territory and she was the only other person that knew where it was. When I get there I kick the thing that allows the door to open. I then run through the forest and the door closes right behind me.

I sit on the matress I have brought down here and try to calm down my heat breathing. I lay back in the bed and as I do there is a loud thud due to my sudden weight being on it.

I have spray painted most of the walls. These spray paintings consist of a lion head roaring, the words 'long live evil', and paw prints with sharp claws and sometimes blood on the claws.

I also have a small table down here that holds a couple switchblades, all the art supplies that I don't already have at home, some makeup, some hair products, and some stuff for my nails.

I also have two coolers down here. One of which is full of drinks and the other full of foods. Mal helped me get some of the stuff. Under the table I have a couple piles of clothes that I keep here just incase I need to stay here for whatever reason. This day, I guess, is a good enough reason.

It's probably only about two thirty right now. Oh, yeah, I also have like thirty bottles of different colored spray paint that I have piled up in the corner of the room. Although, it has to be night when I spray paint since I have to keep the door opened, because I really don't feel like smelling the paint fumes and dieing because of them.

I get up from the mattress and walk over to the food cooler to get a snack. I open it up to find it empty. Crap. I have to go out to get some more food.

I sigh and walk out the door, making sure no one sees me, and start walking to the market. I pass by 'Curl up and Die' on my way and stop. Opens at midnight, Huh? Yeah, well... I'm sure Dizzy is here. I've been wanting too get a black stripe dyed into my hair.

I walk in to fund Dizzy in the main shop sweeping up some discarded hair. She turns around and sees me, at first she jumps and takes in a sharp breath. I chuckle at her first reaction.

"Shadow! You're here!" She shrieks and her eyes fill with excitement. I chuckle again as we runs up and hugs me. "Yeah, I mean, why wouldn't I be?" I say, confusion filling my voice.

"Oh-Well I thought you got to go with Mal and them." She tells me. I nod at her "Well, I didn't. I'm staying here so far." I say cooly. She releases me from her tight hold of a hug.

"Do you think you could put a black dye strip right here?" I say pointing the the spot I wanted it. She nods, obviously concentrating on my words. "Yeah, sure! Sit down over there." She smiles and points at the first chair. I sit obediently.

She put one of those things around me so that I don't get dye on my clothes. She then gets to work. Putting everything in my hair and in the perfect places. I smiles watching her work.

We wait a while and she dies the washing process and after that she dries my hair. She pushes me to stand up and leads me to a broken mirror on the wall. I stare directly into the mirror and smirk. She did well. I pull out some money and hand it to her.

"It looks perfect, you deserve this. " I say handing her some real change with the money. "Well, thanks, but I would've done that for free for you."

"Well, like I said, you deserve it. More people should knew about your talents." she blushes at my words slightly.

She puts half of what I gave her into the register and shoves the rest into her apron. Then the bell rings signaling another customer or we'll anyone really. I stand next to Dizzy as the person strolls into the room.

It was Harry. Gil was right behind him, too. I look at them blankly. I know they want whatever money Dizzy has made today, I won't let that happen. Dizzy is too sweet for someone to steal from her, she belongs in Auradon.

"Give me the money you little colorful rat." Harry says to Dizzy, but never takes his eyes off me.

"Look, Harry, I may have just joined the crew, but I won't hesitate to hurt you." I tell him, putting my hand up to Dizzy's hand that was about to just give Harry the money.

I look back and at Dizzy and raise one eyebrow and shake my head "You don't have to give him anything." I look Dizzy straight in the eyes and she just nods and puts all the money back where it was before.

"Is that so, well Uma Won't like that very much, will she?" Harry taunts and I roll my eyes. "Look, I know Uma is the captain, she probably put you up, but I will talk to her. If you just leave now and don't come back when Dizzy is here then everything will be fine...Deal?"

I take a glance at Gil, whose eyes have sympathy and sadness covering them and I stick out my hand for Harry to shake To complete the deal. I look Harry in the eye and he shakes my hand. "Deal." He finalized. Why was that so easy?

"Gil, let's go. " Harry walks out and Gil follows not sparing another glance at me. I let out a breath that I didn't know I as holding...
