It was busy day, in Joey Drew studios. It was only ever like this about twice a month, and all of the toons had started to notice the pattern. They didn't know why exactly this happened, but they just HAD to find out, considering it was one of busiest times they'd seen in a while. It was about lunchtime, so Joey had started on making the toons lunch. The three toons sat around a table in the break room, happily chatting, until Joey came over with some sandwiches and water for the three of them. That's when Bendy piped up. "Papa drew? Why is everyone so busy today? The deadline isn't until next week, and everything has been ready for a while" he spoke, confusion evident in his voice. Joey turned to the small toon, a small but warm smile on his face. "Well, son, every now and again, your shows writer comes to visit and drop of edits! They are actually scheduled to come in later today, so everyone is getting busy. They are an individual worth pleasing" Joey spoke, lightly patting Bendy's head. The toons sat down to eat their lunch, at as they did, Joey was frantically called out of the room by Henry. He was sputtering about something, but Joey seemed to read his mind and rushed out of the room, muttering a quick "crap, they're early"
???? POV—-
I stepped into the wooden building, pushing my blonde hair out of my face, and adjusting my bag over my shoulder. It'd been awhile since I'd been back to Joey's studio, and I was fine with that, considering how long a journey it was to said studio. But the fact that people were rushing around, looking like they were busy, always made me smile for some reason. It was kind of like they were trying to impress me, for some reason. I wandered down a few hallways, before I came to the animation department, watching as a certain ginger haired man fiddled away at a drawing. I nodded to myself, before making my way to the lift, and downstairs. As I stepped out of the lift, I tripped on the step, and smashed my face on something, causing my two front teeth to stab into my lip, and blood to shoot into my mouth. I groaned at the small throbbing pain, and looked up at what I had smashed into, only to see the music producer, rubbing his shoulder. "Oh! Sammy! Just the man I needed to smash into!" My British accent rang out, alerting Sammy as to who had smashed into his back. "O-oh! I'm so sorry! I should have been looking where I was going are you alright? Do you need any help? Oh god-" I cut him off of his little tangent. "I'm fine Sammy, but I do need to see how that melody is coming. Mind showing me?" I asked. He gave a nod, and led me down to his office, where a ginger haired woman was waiting outside the door. "Ah! Miss Morgan! Great timing!" He spoke, allowing the two of us into his office.
I took a seat at his desk, and began looking over his work. His handwriting was slightly sloppy, but other than that, I could feel the melody in my mind, which gave it a twinge of reality. A small smile graced my face as I went through the other parts of the orchestras music, until I came upon a few pages of guitar sheet music. There wasn't a guitar in the orchestra, and I'd already noted that the banjo had a small part. I went over the music, and found that it was actually quite beautiful. I tucked it into my bag quickly, while the others weren't watching, and set the sheet music down in a neat pile. "Yes, this is good! I'm happy with it, and I'd love to hear it performed some time!" I spoke happily. I watched Sammy sigh in relief, while the ginger woman, who was dressed very seductively, might I add, smiled at me. It only took me a moment to start profiling her, which is something I've begun to do with everyone I meet. I put her into a sort of self conscious group, someone who hated a certain aspect of themselves, and tried to hide it by drawing attention to something else about them. I'd have to keep a tab on that.
I stood, and left Sammy's office without another word, going to check in with Joey and Henry, the ground operators of this whole studio. I hopped back in the lift, rubbing my lip that had stopped bleeding. It still tasted slightly of iron, but it wasn't hurting anymore. I jumped off the lift, being careful of the step this time, and made my way to Joeys office passing a few people, who waved and gave hellos. I arrived at his office rather quickly, and stepped inside. "Hey Joey. So, there isn't really much for me to do, everything seems to be going well, but I wanted to visit for a little while, so, if you'll need anything, I'll be staying at the hotel down the street" I spoke quickly, watching as he turned in his chair. He gave me a smile, before giving an 'alright' and turning back to finish what he'd been doing. I quickly left the office, and made my way back to the main room, but something caught my eye before I could exit the studio. In a doorway, just a bit down the hallway, stood a tall figure, staring at me with curiosity. I squinted to see the figure better, and was shocked at the pair of fluffy ears I had spotted upon its head. The figure moved out of the way quickly, once it saw I'd spotted it. I shrugged it off, and left the building. I've got my weird features. Others have theirs. Who am I to judge.
