I'm so sorry for not updating any of my stories guys, I just feel like my content has been really bad lately and I don't want to be putting out content that doesn't satisfy you guys. I'm trying to do better but I just feel hopeless, I don't have motivation to write since I feel like everything I write is horrible. Just wanted to get this out to hopefully make you happy, sorry if it sucks.

betty

I smile to myself as I walk up to my room. He always leaves me with a smile on my face.

"Betty?" I hear my mother's voice behind me as I walk up the stairs, causing me to turn around.

I smile at her, "Hey mom." I walk down the steps so I'm on the second last one, standing in front of her.

"How are you, honey?"

"Good, as always mom. Jug just dropped me off. Sorry, I didn't say hi when I came in, I was in a daze."

She nods, "Thank him for me. For everything, the ride and for making you so happy."

I can't help but grin at the fact that she accepted Jughead and I's relationship. "I will, thank you mom."

"Elizabeth, I just wanted to have a talk with you. Can we go to your room?"

I nod, my stomach turning. She follows behind me as I go up the stairs and into my room.

She closes the door behind herself while I take a seat on my bed.

"What do you want to talk about?" I ask.

She walks to my bed, sitting by me. "Betty, I understand you're getting older now. You'll almost be 17 in a few months. And with this growth.. and a new boyfriend, you'll probably be trying some new things."

Oh.. the dreaded talk. "Mom..." I hesitate.

She puts a hand on my leg, stopping me, "Now, listen. You're smart, I know that, but I see how you get around Jughead, giddy and so amazingly happy. That can distract you from.. being safe. I know the time will probably come soon, but I want you to make sure it's your choice. Don't let him pressure you, and if you think you're ready, use protection."

I try to keep the embarrassed rosiness from my cheeks, but to no avail. "Okay, thank you mom. Jughead won't pressure me, I know that. If I feel I'm ready, I promise I'll be safe."

She nods, "Good." She let's out a breath, standing up. She walks to the door, just before leaving she says, "Goodnight honey, I love you."

"Love you too mom." I say before she closes the door.

I let out a breathy chuckle, that was an incredibly uncomfortable conversation, but it shows how much she cares.

Coincidentally, my phone lights up with Jugs' face, the red heart emoji by his name making a smile appear on his face.

I pick up, his voice purring into my ear.

"Hey, baby."

"Hey, Juggie. Miss me already, huh?" I joke, scooting back until I lean on the headboard of my bed.

"I'm dreadful without you."

I can tell what his facial expression is just by his voice. The smirk, that irresistible smirk.

"Don't be so glum," I stand up, walking to my dressing table as I talk to him, "You'll be satisfied when I see you again. I promise, I'll make it worth the wait." I bite my lip as I flirt with him.

"Ohhh don't do that, Betts." he says sternly.

I play innocent. "Do what?"

"Tempt me. Get me riled up when you know all I want to do right now is kiss you."
