Authors note: I have loved the movie for years. Literally watching it over and over again. And the one character or knight rather that speaks the least and managed to capture my attention with a single line and held it for the rest of the movie was Tristan. Played by the very talented Mads Mikkelsen.
This fan fiction will be based partially before and after the movie. The makers of King Arthur put Guinevere in as a warrior lady. Instead of the simpering maiden of legend. I love this. So we all know Isolde is Tristan's lady in the legends. In my world she is Guinevere's cousin and a woad. Captured by the Romans at the villa she is tortured and starved alongside her cousin. She a year prior lived at the fort on the wall to get a better idea of the knights and Arthur for Merlin. Not to infiltrate and manipulate but just to observe. She meets Tristan there and so begins out tale. Hope you all can enjoy it. :)
